What is more amazing is the ability of these people to use whatever they have to do the job, in this case a very very small pair of scissors, tape, and cable ties. In the west you go looking for specialised and very expensive tools to do a job that does not necessarily require them.

since it is a rigid structure, you should have take advantage of it by creating separated chambers. this to ensure floating also in case of single/double damage. you can also add on the top hermetic inspection screw caps for maintenance, faster drying in case of spills and even keep fresh small amounts of food and small water bottles

I worked fiberglass for years in my youth, building boats, yachts, microwave antennas, and water park slides...just to mention a " few items". The fact that you Failed to use a roller to remove All of the air bubbles to decrease weakness, and all of the " dry spots" missing resin altogether tells me your " boat WILL break up and Delaminate very soon.

How many hours do you think you put into this? Finish weight? Local cost for this project v. purchase of a similar boat? Motor choice? Why an airboat and not an outboard? I am guessing cost was an important issue, do you access places with this set up you cannot access with an outboard? I love the concept, hope you can scale up and build these for others.

Bloody hell!!! I wouldn't stand anywhere near that propellor. Unlaminated and Unbalanced will put some serious vibration on all those bad welds and the ultra thin bad fiberglass and there is no clutch either. A small Propellor in the water would be so much more controllable and way less dangerous.

Einfach Polystyrol so formen, wie man es braucht und dann laminieren. Ist schon deshalb besser, weil das Ding dann nicht untergehen kann, was ja in allen Ländern mit Bootsbau so sein sollte.
