I actually like that origin. As much as I appreciate Man-bat's appearance in the animated series, I actually prefer this origin more.

He doesn't want to do bad things. He just loses control sometimes.

The only time we have come close is in the Batman game on the PlayStation 4 Arkham Knight and they have shown a Batman batman in the Story one million DC Comics one in wich tock over the mantle of the Batman a literal Batman Batman.

It would be a nice character, for an intro sequence, to show where Batman’s skill level is at. But, I wouldn’t want a full movie arc, as it would more than likely be about turning citizens into Bat Monsters, in trying to cure his wife or self. I’d rather have a proper Mr Freeze movie, for a story like that. Actually, I would like to see the Batman movie start out with him actually doing Detective work, on the trail of a multiple missing persons case. Then, the mayor, or maybe even Falcone’s kid gets kidnapped, and it leads Batman to Professor Pyg and/or Dollman and family, who have been doing their thing... Batman proceeds to now show his physical abilities, beating up any goons or family(if Dollman), until finally having the murderer, already beaten to a pulp, taunting him to kill. Just when Bats is going to snap that neck, Gordon comes on over a loudspeaker! Bats throws smoke grenades, then takes off into the night...”TITLE”

That's true, which should be used as ideas to revamp these villains and make one of them, the main or side villain of a film.

I remember that Man-Bat was a big deal back on BTAS

As a kid KIrk turning into Man Bat in Batman the Animated Series scared me.

MAN-BAT story is a little similar whit the story of doctor Connors a.k.a THE LIZARD from marvel comics.

They really need to make a Batman movie with Man-Bat being a main Villain in it like it can be a detective noir movie or something.

He comes very close but is never able to replicate the original serum. As time's gone on he's slowly become more bat than man so he can no longer try. It's too late now
