It’s insane how much chemistry Lily had with every romantic relationship (Donna) has in this movie. Like her chemistry with young Sam, Harry AND Bill’s actors is astounding. The casting people really got this right. I’m obsessed.

Benny Anderson playing Our Last Summer on the piano before the Waterloo number is such an awesome easter egg. It loops full circle into the "and now you're working in a bank, a football fan, and your name is Harry" line Sophie sings from the first movie. I swear this prequel-sequel is just full of easter eggs!

I know the sequel doesn’t completely follow the original but honestly I think this movie stand alone, it’s a wonderful sequel but apart from the original it’s a great movie all it’s own

I like both movies even if they had inconsistencies, they both had some thing...

I keep playing this on repeat. Hugh Skinner is so endearing as Harry, and love his singing voice at the start of the song. But tbh, this whole scene gives me BFF/GBF vibes. How amazing would it be if there was a show about Donna and Harry? Her raising her child and Harry helping while coming out.

In the first movie they said that he later went to the Island, he said this when he started to sing our last summer... but for me si the one that Lilly like less, she loved Sam, and with Bill was first like friend and then when Sam left she was with him....

I'm a big fan of napoleon, abba and especially this song it has a lot of meaning (for a napoleon and history fan). And see how he declares his love with THAT song and with the references of Napoleon IT IS BEAUTIFUL
