Mamiya 645 Super: Quick Guide
A quick overview on the Mamiya 645 Super. I want to share what I learned getting this camera up and running from the moment i got it. There are a lot of things a new owner needs to understand about this camera to get it to work properly. When i got mine, i thought it was broken! so i did research and research before crying for help. And i managed to find my way and got the camera working properly! It was not broken after all!
So this video is primarily for someone who is interested in getting a 645 Super. And specially for those who have them already and got lost a bit on making it work :)

Wow thanks for the guide! Been thinking of buying this model and I cant seem to find any in depth guide like yours on youtube. Glad I stumbled upon it! Just curious, where did you get yours from - in Manila or online? Also trying to see where I can get one here :)

@@KevMayuga messaged you sa ig, kevin :)
I you clean the contacts, why do you touch them with fingers?
Sorry but red dot shutter speed positions with lock button is not for leaf shutter lenses ! round red dot is A modus without AE lock (automatic aperture priority) and square red dot is A modus with AE lock by pressing half way the shutter. When operating a leaf shutter lens you simply choose a manual focal shutter speed longer than 1/30s and the leaf shutter will expose within this focal shutter slot with it's own leaf shutter time setting.

thank you for that info :)
Thanks for the video. Very didactic. I have the Mamiya 645 Pro Tl (like this one kzread.info/dash/bejne/oGdhzrqwebW-irA.html) for 5 months and I still haven't taken any photos. I hope to do it soon. Your video helps me understand how the camera works. I find it difficult to understand how A and AEL modes work. The viewfinder I have is the AE FK402. can you help me? Gracias

hello Fermin. sorry for the super delayed reply. i'm sorry i'm not familiar with the A and AEL modes and the viewfinder you have :(
Great info. I have my eye out for one on ebay. I believe Av stands for Aperture Priority not Average.

Nope. Manual for prism viewfinder specifies that it means average
