My husband cut Perry’s hair when he was small. He really liked the little boy. When our son was born in 1965 we named him Peri ( spelled different) Anthony (middle name). Amazing they are still alive.

I love that Mamie is still doing things in Hollywood on her terms. She's totally mastered social media. I believe she's in her high 80's in age. But still very youthful in spirit and looks.

I don’t think Mamie was talking nonsense about Doris. Take note at the very end long shot of Mamie leaving the stage. Notice Doris' dour expression and half hearted clapping. The next shot is of a close-up of Doris smiling and clapping joyfully. Gives credence to Mamie that Doris was less than friendly towards her. It was to the point that for the close up shots of Doris reacting to Mamie, it was, in fact, a stand-in.

Still is, well into her 80s and still a stunner. Was never a drinker or a smoker and it has paid off in leaps and bounds, along with probably a good plastic surgeon and good genes.

She's fun. But she's talking nonsense about Doris Day however. She was playing a character in this clip. Doris Day was not a prude at all. Much as I love Mamie, she should stop now.

I think Mamie was willing to do things at the time that didn't have a good image, but she had fun with it, plus she was much younger than Doris. Doris only had a limited time in her career, and she was the star of the movie. I don't recall Doris having another movie with Clark Gable, so this was her time, but Gable preferred an underage child, who was a beauty queen. Doris was more sunshine and lady like, even though Doris' life was quite tragic. Doris was known for rescuing animals, and often times animals are much more loving than people. Mamie did well for herself, and being a blonde bombshell was exploited by men, especially in the Hollywood studio. I remember Mamie stating that she did not allow men to break her heart, she took advantage of the situation, but did not let that define her. She is still beautiful, and smarter than we give her credit for. I feel like she is one of the treasures that survived old Hollywood, unlike some of her colleagues.
