true. there are several good vocalists in kpop (like hyolyn, ailee and more) but when it comes to groups, mamamoo is undefeated. To this day, there is still not a group out there with their vocal talent, stage presence and uniqueness. They don't need choreo to hype up an audience. And to think that some of these clips were shortly after their debut, just crazy.

i don't think they would win the crowd. the crowd of Coachella wants banger songs and intense choreography. 2 of the things that Mamamoo don't do. look the groups at top 10 Worldwide Fan's Choice at MAMA 2021. ALL do banger songs and intense choreography. Mamamoo were not even in top 20. if you don't have banger songs and intense choreography you don't win the masses.

@@raaluv4 in Korea. outside Korea things are different and Mamamoo are not the best group. 1 album of Blackpink outsold Mamamoo entire discography. outside Korea people want intense choreography and banger songs. that's why 4th gen groups are more popular than Mamamoo. look at top 10 Worldwide Fan's Choice. everyone is doing intense choreo and make banger songs. do Mamamoo make banger songs and intense choreo? no. sure there's Hip. whast else? nothing. that's why after Hip they have no major hit song internationally and none of their new songs made the views that Hip did. it's mind boggling that they found the hit formula with Hip and then they went the opposite direction.

You're not lying when you say they have the best vocals in kpop. Another thing that makes them great is their stage presence. Even Moonbyul has an amazing voice. She is more than just a tapper. Please check out the video of her signing Trying to Say Goodbye. She has gotten so much more confident with her vocals.

The 2nd to last clip is their 1st Immortal stage performance. The last clip is their very first END of year award show performance. Both within 6months of debut. Vocal Queens 👸👸👸👸

PERIOD.... Absolute VOCAL QUEENS

They're the only kpop group who can make a jaded old fart like me cry on a regular basis ... even when they're not doing an emo ballad. A lot of the songs in this vid were from their 14 performances on the singing competition tv show Immortal Songs 2 between 2015-19. When you said they were standing stiffly it was during their first IS2 appearance when they were raw rookies but that was a rare still moment in an otherwise energetic and audacious performance. They came in 2nd that day and earned the respect of their much more senior and famous competitors, who immediately dubbed them the Monster Rookies of 2015. You really need to watch all of Mamamoo's IS2 performances. The tv network blocks reactions unless you ghost the video over the background so either try that or watch them on your own time. Bring tissues. :)

I feel like this too. I like some girl groups and a few of their songs. But I LOVE MAMAMOO! Also, the6 are more of an artist than idol group because of all their creative involvement in their music and performances.
