Mamamoo do all music genres flawlessly, they have a huge discography that increases monthly whether as a group, sub unit or soloists. Believe it or not Mamamoo sound even better live than their studio recordings and they rearrange their songs for live performances. Looking forward to more of your Mamamoo very deep dive, 4 parts will definitely not be enough. 😉

Fun fact: Um Oh Ah Yeh is one of their official encore songs because they ALWAYS have fun performing this. They would also often do adlibs and part changes with this and You're the Best.

Um Oh Ah Year: the main hook for this song was the live stages, they would change the spoken bits every time. There is a compilation video of it.

The best documentary made recently at Netflix professional level that talks of mamamoo since debut and impact to kpop and korean society is "Why Mamamoo is most underated kpop group by nameskie..its amazing done by fan. Please show it as its o ly been released month ago. Its in english .Definetly the best one made and recent.

Paint Me: I'm sure someone will explain the significance around this song and the fs/fc concept over the four albums. Paint me was a great ballad, and hearing Moonbyul sing was cool. It is not a song that would be picked as the opening for a big concert. Except, mamamoo did... they beefed it up to 11 and while moonbyul's singing verse was gone, the rap was hype. Whole song was great for a song opening... moving into Starry night (again, amped up to 11)

It’s actually crazy that I know their discography so well, seen them in concert but I never have seen their older videos?! Décalcomanie left me shook and made me like the song much more tbh❤

I would have to add Moderato for a Wheein solo. Not officially solo since it was named under Mamamoo but it was only Wheein collaborating with Hash Swan. Their collabs and OSTs are really really good as well, but of course, it's Mamamoo so...

Yes i am: song is very much about self affirmation. that you are beautiful the way you are. its self empowerment. In the song they call out a few 'beauty standards'

Apart from the city scenes (Auckland), and the wharf (Moon Byul), it was all filmed at Bethells Beach, West Auckland.

Just curious if you were going to check out their 2 pre-debut songs/mvs: Don't Be Happy (with Bumkey) and Peppermint Chocolate? Don't Be Happy will impress you how good their vocals were from the very start.

Wow a deep dive with Mamamoo! I love these kinda videos especially since my requests would be to watch all of Mamamoo's amazing music. One of the best things and defining aspects of Mamamoo is their live performances. Even songs that I'm not so sure about or if the genre changes - it would still be amazing due to how much better it sounds live. I really recommend in your later parts checking out some title track live performances especially the ones you might not have been sure about.

Saw your NMIXX video first but I love Mamamoo for similar reasons. Talented women who received a lot of push back/criticism but continued to create amazing music regardless of the hate. Love everything Mamamoo stands for. Wish they would have gotten more recognition during the height of the group's career but the real ones know just how good they are.

Fact: Moon Byul was trained as a vocalist, but "forced/offered" to debut as rapper as she wasn't as "great" a singer but actually she can sing very well. It's just that she lost some confidence due to how she debuted or being "told she wasn't as good", but as Moomoos & the rest of MAMAMOO members kept encouraging her, she eventually regained her confidence and now she had gifted us with so many solo albums + the current latest 1st solo FULL ALBUM "Starlit Of Muse" is such a banger, you guys really have to check out their album. btw, pls do also check out all members' solo works too, along with all b sides of each if their albums.

Instead of Avicii, maybe think of Prayer in C, particularly the Robin Schulz remix. A lot of people bring that one up when listening to Starry Night for the first time, and I guess I can see it.

Hi, newbie here! Sorry if it's a noob question because there's a chance you already mentioned this, but I'm curious. Are you planning to react to Mamamoo introduction videos, like the 2 part video from Purplehawk, and "why MAMAMOO is the most underrated kpop group" vid. I think these two will be the best for you if you want to know them personally too.

New York actually isn’t a title track. It’s a b-side that they just happened to make an MV for. They had quite a few like that from their melting album. Their b-sides 1cm Pride (Taller Than You), Recipe, and Hometown all had MVs. I think those are always a little more underwhelming because they aren’t being marketed as title tracks, so the MVs are more so just something cute or funny they put together for the fans. I may be mistaken, but I’m pretty sure this album came out just before their first concert in the US. So the footage of Moonbyul and Hwasa in the pink jumpsuits onstage was from one of those concerts. So maybe they wrote the song in anticipation of finally getting to go there. I’m not sure if they’ve ever given any background to the reasoning behind making it. Still a cute MV but far from my favorite. To be fair tho, with Mamamoo the bar is quite high. Lol

another fandom are proud when their idols doing live. meanwhile, moomoos feels proud when mamamoo are lipsync so they can rest their voices. even ask them to learn that. 😂
