Individually Solar, Hwasa and Wheein have such beautiful voices but when they sing together it just blows my mind. And Moonbyul's perfectly inserted rapping adds so much to the group dynamic. I am so glad I discovered Mamamoo.

Mamamoo should perform this kind of performance at major award show like Korean Music Award to present a lifetime achievement award perhaps. Just like Lady Gaga pays tribute to Julie Andrews at Grammy Award. It will be amazing.

The rest of the song is fantastic as it is, but Hwasa's breathy singing voice on those certain lines... it just gives me chills. Girl is absolutely unreal.

There are two type of singers in this world: singing as an occupation and singing as a passion. Mamamoo really highlights the difference between the two.

But not every artist goes that extra mile to add different adlibs to *every single* performance of the same song, interact and sing *with* the audience, and hype up just about any audience, and have the time of their lives about every time they are on stage, not with the appearent ease MMM does it. They may be amazing soloists as well, but they themselves always see them as whole only when they are all together. Yeah, the downside is that ballads by K-pop groups don't tend to do as well commercially and being from a small company where they are currently the primary earner, it's important for them to generally have something that will sell and chart well, win music shows, and get music festivals psyched to book them. They do the occasional ballad, but mostly they are B sides of a single or deep cuts from their albums. Red Velvet is another girl group with some great ballads as that group sings harmonies well too, but SM couldn't get them to chart as well in the early years of the group and pretty much just goes with dance-pop now as that is what seems to chart and sell the best. Mamamoo is kind of in the same boat, but being at a much smaller company it is even more critical that they make good money on a single. SM can afford to break even on a single or take a small loss to prove an artistic point. RBW can't yet. Now if Oneus and Onewe do well and their next girl group that is getting close to debut, RBW might have a little more freedom to experiment musically with Mamamoo.

+Ima Nzurum Moon's first rap part was sublime. It kind of reminded me of MC Sniper's rap feeling.

Watching their performances in immortal songs made me realize that they always had the potential to be one of the amazing gg groups. They might be not that popular to internationals but they are very well known because of their vocal skills. I’m so proud to see them grow and what they have achieved this 2020. Damn. Moonbuyl's rap blends so well in the song. I just can't stop the feels when watching their perf TT

4 diff girls, 4 diff voice, 4 diff stories, made the perfect song.

I was listening to this, while working, and suddenly I‘m crying. They are so beautifully intense.

When you realize that Solar is the pillar of the harmony in MMM... Her voice is suprano but love how she does the lower register for the harmony then goes up again always balancing her voice for the perfect harmony, love it much... 😘😊✌🏻

But the fact is Wheein is mamamoo's vocal pillar, Kim Dohoon (RBW'S CEO) said that Wheein is a bridge between Solar and Hwasa, Wheein is always lowering her tone for perfect harmonization Even if you often hear mamamoo songs, Wheein always gets a pretty difficult part But we know that our leader Solar is a belter in Mamamoo

Me too! I feel she is often times under-recognized for her vocal abilities and her ability to convey sincere emotions.

I posted 5yrs ago on this video. And today I’m posting that I saw them live in Chicago. 🥹 My moomoo heart is filled with so many emotions and love. Thank you Mamamoo for making music 🎶 that makes me feel so confident and loved. Thank you for your artistry and passion. I’ll never forget it! 💚 Till we meet again. I’ll be back to listen to this cover over and over again.

Me too. But how I wish Hwasa hold her "la" when they sang the last syllable (?), "Seo" (I'm sorry I'm not Korean). While Whee in harmonizing with Solar. Could be perfect.

1 year old mamamoo with 20 years talents

Their vocals are so perfectly matched that when they all sing high notes, it's completely harmonic. Wheein's crystal clear high notes cut straight through to even out the lower more gutteral tones of Hwasa and Solar though Solar is a little higher in pitch in volume that it doesn't clash either. When Moonbyul joins in, it's to stabilise the high notes to keep it from being too chaotic by bringing in her moderating tone. It's beautiful and I don't know the correct terminology for this but this is how I view it.

I wanna pop a question to those 103 people who dislike this performance. why the hell did u hate such beautiful rendition? it's not just Mamamoo, that woman who sing "AHEYA" was amazing too. everything was epic. come on!

The mix between Mamamoo's voice and the woman singing Aheyaa, brought tears to my eyes, everytime I listen this song. And Moonbyul, absolutely stunning!!!!!

No way to hate mamamoo they're perfect, I love you solar-hwasa-moonbyul-wheein.

Honourable mention for the backing vocalist, she was fantastic.

3:31 Wheein sings ❤ and 3:49 Wheein harmonies with the higher pitch 😊❤ but no one in the comment area noticed 😂😂poor Wheein 😢😢😢😢

No fancy costums, no fancy make-up... in fact when looking at their attire they look as if they walked in from the street. No big dance act or flashy visuals, just 4 ladies with a mike each with a live band singing in a language I don't understand. Nonetheless, they still hit me right in the 'feels' even when not reading the sub's (side note, props for the original rap, if you didn't know better you would think that it was part of the original)

It's been almost 10 years since Mr Ambiguous and Belis MMM is still true! I get such comfort from listening to them sing.

This performance sealed the deal for me being a moomoo. I was amazed by their You're the Best performance that I first saw before this but being as old as I am, songs like this speak more to me. Now, I feel like Mamamoo keeps me young because they are so vibrant. I wanna adopt them as my children, since I have none. Wheein especially.
