Fun fact about wendigo’s: their actually humans who in an last ditch effort to survive with no food actually resort to killing another human being and eating their remains which is called cannibalism. Then they are subsequently possessed by the evil spirit of the wendigo and begin a gruesome metamorphosis from man to a grotesque savage supernatural unruly beast who’s hunger for meat and flesh will never be satisfied. Even consuming it’s own flesh like it’s lips for example doesn’t help. So it will eat forever on meats and flesh of humans and animals mainly humans including itself. Until someone stabs it’s ice cold heart with a silver stake or silver blade then when it’s dead you must take that icy cold shattered wendigo heart and lock it inside a sliver box and bury that box in a church graveyard. Then take a silver plated axe and chomp off all the wendigo’s limbs and head and then salt the entire body limbs and head and burn it until it’s ash and let the ashes scatter in the wind. Then the wendigo is finally dead and not coming back. Unfortunately there is no saving the poor unfortunate person who became a wendigo he or she must die in order to defeat the wendigo.

You're lucky to ever see them depicted as they originally were in indigenous legends and not as some generic forest demon from Germany, and you can thank a piece of deer stool named Blackwood for that. This is probably the worst one that I've ever seen though.
