You guys,
Thank you for making this happen. The support you've shown over the last year and a half led to this opportunity to work with Zenimax Online Studios. They asked me to write a fan song for the Elder Scrolls community, based on the ESO story. :)
I will be sharing more info about the writing process of this song soon, but I just wanted to say that I read in the lore that the word Tamriel means "Dawn's Beauty". That's why the song ended up being called Beauty of Dawn. :)
Thank you for watching. Always. Thank you.
Love,
Malu

Beauty of Dawn
A serpent lights the ancient sky
A threat of tainted stars
Evil stirs and in its wake
The souls of mortals sway
Sorrow reigns
Over fields of red
Spirits pace
Through the shadows cast by their graves
These are days and nights of venom and blood
Heroes will rise as the anchors fall
Brave the strife, reclaim every soul
That belongs to the Beauty of Dawn
Darkness strikes to blind the strong
But Faith will guide our swords
Loyal hearts we'll stand as one
And fight with shields of Hope
Pride fuels the deadly fire
That devours our tower of gold
The drums of war will rage and roar
'Til the sun burns bright once more
These are days and nights of venom and blood
Heroes will rise as the anchors fall
Brave the strife, reclaim every soul
That belongs to the Beauty of Dawn

Mason Williams Beauty of dawn was the end credits song, and that is her voice in the end credits. However, when a female sings three hearts as one I believe it is her voice.
This song gets even better, when you realize that she was making actual references to the lore. "Days and nights of venom and blood" is a reference to the turmoil before the founding of the empire. That phrase is found in A brief history of the empire v1. "A serpent lights the ancient skies, a threat of tainted stars." A reference to the Regaurd creation myth, that the stars were guideposts for spirits attempting to escape being eaten by a giant snake named "Satakal." "Tower of gold." White gold tower, of course. The center of the imperial city. "Heroes will rise as the anchors fall. " Obviously referring to the portals to Coldharbour. "Beauty of Dawn." Tamriel means "Dawn's beauty" in the language of the elves. I'm sure there are others.

AmazingGaming No, this was written by Malukah. It even says so in the description, Zenimax asked her to write a song and she did. Then, they put it in the end credits. Just to be thorough, I also checked to see if there was an "original" version of this song, and there isn't. This is the first.

I'm all serious, Zenimax and Bethesda should pay you for all these videos. They are so damn excellent that far beyond the "Fan works". And, I think it will be nice to make a NPC called Malukah in a tavern in the middle of Cyrodiil where all players from all 3 factions can enter, peacefully, sit around the hearth, listening to the songs regardless of the pain and hatred. That'll be nice.

While I fully agree with the sentiment, I find it hard to say this is a 'hidden' gem. Most of us discovered Malukah from her first Skyrim cover, and have been madly in love with her music ever since. That aside, she was officially hired by Zenimax to do official Elder Scrolls bard songs! But I'll give you the 'hidden' in the sense that her main fanbase is probably Elder Scrolls fans, so if someone has nothing to do with those, they probably aren't getting enough Malukah in their lives.

It's funny how she say: "Thank you for watching" at the end of the song, and yet she´s the one making our day brighter. It's incredible how something this beautiful can also be for free to us to enjoy. Thank you Malukah for making this world a better place
It always amazes me that your accent completely changes when you sing. It throws me off when you do a interview or commentary. Regardless of that you have a very angelic voice.

***** Goddamn if any of the Elder Scrolls games were judged purely on how they were when they were first released it would be a miracle they ever got anywhere with the series. I cannot count the number of bugs and glitches and just outright broken mechanics that I've encountered across Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim combined but they've ALWAYS fixed those issues.

***** I'm only going to say this: A MMO is not a standard game. Definitely a horse of a different color. They release buggy because there is so much that can go wrong. A regular ass game now days, is not what they used to be. They used to release and that was it. It was complete and full. With DLC this has made many developers lazy. But that's the digital era. We can't do much about it. Bitching and complaining isn't going to change what the standard has become.

People expected too much from ESO. You cannot make a game like Oblivion, Skyrim, Etc a MMO and expect it to be exactly the same. It's a perfectly fine Elder Scrolls game. It's just not the same as Single Player Elder Scrolls game, and it never should be. You can't be immersed in a game with someone with the name of yomommaisfat25 and take it seriously. It's exactly why we don't really have a good horror mmo. You can't be scared of something if someone is standing next to you with a name like swagtigolbiddies666 It's not going to fucking happen. People need to think about what is realistic and what is not. This isn't table top D&D where you can look the person in the face and tell them they're acting ridiculous. You can't properly sneak and be a thief and insta-gib someone else's npc in the face with an arrow like you can in a single player mode. It has lore, it has music, it has armor and skills, it has monsters, vampires and werewolves. It doesn't have the immersion and freedom that would be achieved in a single player game. The anti social nature of a single player game is what GIVES the immersion.
Definitely one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard! The tender emotions of Malukah's vocal harmonies pour forth like soft velvet, transporting the listener to the realm of Skyrim's magical world! Truly this girl's remarkable talent was meant to enhance the experience of an ethereal dream known as Tamriel.

After being constantly being barraged by stupid generic club music, with random "artists" singing about how much money they have and how great they are, listening to something like this reminds me music can actually be a tool of beauty and creating music can be more about making money or getting popularity. It can be creating breathtaking a piece of art. In equal parts skillful, impressive, meaningful and passionate. A true pleasure to listen to. Keep up the amazing work :)

hahaha did the exact same thing as all you guys... heard the bard in the tavern and went... "IT'S MALUKA!!!" and just stood there and listened to her sing it like 3 times ;)
Are you a Angel, greatest voice of this Universe .-)
This song is the one that i listen to the most often from Malukah. Really magical as all her songs are, and the bright blue blouse just hits off the positiveness of the song.
I absolutely love your voice and your choice of music! Thank you for sharing it with us.
In ESO, there should be a sort of " Legendary Bard" that uses malukah's voice. Also, in my opinion, her voice is the real dovahkiin.

***** I dunno man, I just picked the game up a few days back and it seems pretty good now. Possibly the best MMO I played in the last two years. Still waiting for a bunch of other ones thought but just wanted to inform you that it might have changed (that or I am to new to the game). :p

Uh... well my friends and I bought the game for 10USD so we are quite content with what we got for that money. Crime system is getting added in 1.7 afaik. Either way I am only really playing games for the PVP so might be that we have other focus.

***** Dem sales. I think it is on steam, which usually has awesome sales, especially in summer and around Holidays. I mean, when it released there was a 25% off preorder sale from the get go :P

I'm still watching this video regularly as we approach Christmas in 2017. Every single time I watch, it brings me to tears. The amazing lyrics that so eloquently paint the scene of bravery against insurmountable evil and despair, coupled with malukah's beautiful angelic vocals moves me every time I watch. This is your finest work malukah, and I thank you for blessing us with your talent, you are such a beautiful and interesting woman. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas, and continue to provide us with music in the future!.
I love the way you sing a song, your voice echoes in my mind. you're an amazing singer Malukah.
Thank you Malukah :D Always Loved your voice and videos.
She is personified beauty. Gotta love some malu.
Thank you again for putting me in tears with your lovely voice. Well done, love.
I have, very seldom, felt such a joy and sadness and wonder of how absolutely beautiful the lyrics are and of how well they fit your voice! Thank you so much for this song!🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I knew I heard this song in an inn in the Aldmeri area!
What a blessed voice. Ya deffenetly fit into sutch songs very great.
Malukah, you are so awesome! I don't know of any other singer that harmonizes with herself in so many parts. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better! Amazing.
You're quickly becoming one of my favorite artists, your voice is...enchanting.
For anyone who doesn't know this song is about the continent ''Tamriel'' since its also called ''Dawn's Beauty''

Tamriel actually means "Dawn's Beauty" in the language of the Altmer.
This girl should be on Skyrim's main soundtrack

Because the mixing on her tracks is disgusting.
when a singer can bring emotion to and give it you know they'll go far and inspire so many
wooooow! Years listening to you sing this song and love it, and only now I read in the description that the song is yours. I always heard it as if it were one of the covers that is perfect in your voice. To tell you the truth, this song and The Wolven storm are the ones I can not stay without replay. Now I can only be even more of a fan of you. I just wish I could have more of you in spotify, because I only find 5 or 6 songs.
She is GOD LIKE! like an enchantment
Chills. Down my back!
These verse, melody and your voice are unbelievably beautiful to listen. When I was first listening this song I cried. Very very very beautiful and amazing song!
First time I heard your voice, I literally felt it hitting me right in the soul, never had such good feeling listening to anything. I really thank you for great that feeling.
