    I was there as a little boy of 9 years old. It was like yesterday. My father held me high on top of his shoulder.

    What wonderful memories of Malta. It was great watching this video. I w2as not present in malta at the time, so for me this is double wonderful.

    Good choice they didn't even join Italy. Italy would have cancelled their language as it's been doing with all Italy's languages.

    @@robertborg852You could see that as a blessing in disguise since English is the financial language of the world, certainly opens a lot of doors if most people understand it

    Its a shame that both countries were so shortsighted to part ways. Malta would have had access to the British market, its expertise, its discipline and its military might while the UK would dominate most of the Med sea including god know how much oil which the Maltese can't dig without kicking a hornet nest which is way bigger to its size
