Actually the song is very deep than it seems, here how: A man from Lesotho went to KwaZulu, he was really good in Buthi & Ntelezi he helped on healing wounded Zulu warriors, since he was very good turns out that the ruling king back then said since we don’t know you ndoda we will now call you Buthelezi since you’re good in those things, that’s how Buthelezi surname was created so this song goes a long way, Buthelezi’s are original Sothos

As u know mntungwa is Khumalo and they belong to the Hlubi tribe that were known for their muthi and were great allies to the Zulu nation. When they were attacked and the nation fell Shaka even avenged them a grist the Ngwane. One can argue that most Zulu’s today are of Hlubi ancestry

Thanks for the work. Not to demean your efforts: Malome Vector's lyrics are wrong hence the meaning might be distorted. Let me illustrate with the pre hook in Sesotho sa Lesotho (uses li and lu for di and du respectively). U tsebe ke rata ha likupu li luma Tau ea Lesotho u tla e bona e puruma Vector ke senya ba sale ba bua Ntoa ke ea melamu eseng ea lithunya Nyamatsana e kene ka har'a khauta 'leme le hlaba le tletse meutloa Moo ke eang ke pele, azanke (not in Sesotho language) ke khutla Se ke le pele se ke ile ka bua. @@taniafezzie8679 "isphandla" is a bracelet made from goat's tale or skin after being slaughtered in a Zulu/Xhosa ceremony such as "imbeleko" or "umemulo".....so in direct translation he says if you see him wearing a "sphandla" definately he got it from himself cause he's a self-slaughtering Goat (ngiyiMbuz'eznqumayo)....I hope it makes sense if not atleast I gave you some light
