December 1975 I moved my Californian self to Landskrona Sweden. The Landskrona kammarkör sang this at our work place Dec 13 at an early morning Lucia Day celebration. I'll never forget the magic of that moment. Truly the most beautiful Christmas song ever composed. Oh, and I joined that choir! Such a long time ago. Heja Sverige!

Moving to Landskrona from California must’ve been a big change in your life.

I lived almost 10 years in Sweden (1988-1996)... ...and I think, this is far the best song this nowadays far away country, has produced... ...lovely, indeed...

The must touching Christmas song in the world - my choir, the Symphonischer Chor Hamburg, has sung it on Friday, December 7th 2018, for my wife and me - on our wedding in Hamburg, in the castle of Bergedorf.

Hits me straight in the heart. An lovely, poignant piece of music beautifully sung. I've sung it many times with my choir in Borås. It's nice to listen somebody else sing it; that way you can concentrate on listening and not just singing your part (bass). Ja, jag kan svenska också.
