Nice video, thanks for sharing. Really like the sequence around 2:34 and the following shot of the crane/heron is very cool too.

Great videography. Don't really want to sail there, but your piece is terrific.

That location really is uniquely perfect for some great drone footage, isn't it?

Cool video. All those boats built to be used in WW1 and most never were. Left to rot in Mallows Bay. Interesting stuff.

I do believe Mallows bay is restricted airspace. You may want to make this video private, before the FAA sees its location and visits you.

+worm5406 It's not restricted but it's a good idea to call the control tower at Quantico MCAS and let them know you'll be flying over the wrecks. They were very accommodating when I called them.

I am putting together an article called "100 Places To Fly Before You Die" for the web site Toms Guide (www.tomsguide.com), and I wanted to include this video. Would that be okay with you? Thanks in advance, Richard Baguley for Toms Guide

No pitty about it, this is a national historical site. Always 3rd world countries seek to destroy the old and build something "better" with no respect for the past. These are mostly wooden wreaks with no real environmental harm, in fact they serve as a sanctuary to local wildlife
