Wow, das ist das erste Video was ich mit der Mavic Air sehe welches eine extrem gute Qualität zeigt. Schön zu sehen das diese Air in den richtigen Händen in der Lage ist ihr potential voll auszuschöpfen. So wie ich es mir gedacht habe liegt es meist am Anwender. Danke für den tollen Film und das du mir die Kaufentscheidung sicher gemacht hast.

geophotography Danke. Was die Bebop 2 anbelangt, so möchte ich sie, was die Video-Qualität anbelangt, als Schön-Wetter-Drohne bezeichnen. Die Flugeigenschaften sind aber sehr gut, die Geräuschentwicklung ist dabei aber relativ hoch, so dass man sie in 50 Metern Höhe noch recht deutlich wahrnimmt. Aber als Einsteigerdrohne möchte ich sie nicht missen. Beim Follow-Me Modus im PKW ist sie mal mit hoher Geschwindigkeit in einen kahlen Baum geflogen und aus ca. 10 Metern auf erdigen Untergrund gestürzt. Bis auf ein wenig Abrieb im gepolsterten Frontbereich der Kameraoptik ist aber kein Schaden entstanden. Was die Videoqualität anbelangt: Ab einer gewissen Lichtintensität wird das Bild sehr rauschig. Heute zur goldenen Stunde stand die Sonne zwar perfekt am Himmel, aber sie war ein wenig zu verhangen. Man kann da sicherlich am PC noch einiges aus dem Material herausholen, aber dafür fehlt mir zum einen die Zeit und zum anderen die nötige Rechenpower. Das derzeitige Bearbeiten an Smartphone und Tablet ist zwar vom Funktionsumfang limitiert, aber erspart Zeit. Da ich jetzt noch den Mavic Air als Combo vorbestellt habe, reicht mir das erst einmal an Investitionen für den Hobby-Bereich völlig aus. Und ND/Polfilter wollen auch noch finanziert werden. Vielleicht gönne ich mir mal zu Weihnachten eine neue Grafikkarte, damit ich die Videoqualität gezielter verbessern kann. Und die Bebop und den Air möchte ich mal parallel fliegen lassen, so dass man den Qualitätsunterschied herausstellen kann. 😉

dear Geophotohraphy, first of all please welcome all my respect for your video. This is absolutely stunning, fine scene cuts and amazing angles. I am hesitating between Mavic AIR vs Mavic PRO - which one do you offer? Okay I have seen many comparison videos here on KZread but still unsure. Air has no OcuSync like Pro does have and I am affraid there is latency and lag (delay / Verspätung ) in the video streaming on the phone screen. I am also unsure with the gimball sensitivity settings. Could you please share with me what settings did you apply for these shots? I would like to do videos like yours ( you will be still be the best for always of course :D ) so I do not want very fast scenes, just these smooth and calm ones like yours. 2:07 ist das der Dolly Effekt? Und wenn ja, wie hast Du den generiert? Wirklich ein schönes Video und man bekommt gleich Lust darauf, dort hin zu fliegen...

Jo, der typische Dolly-Zoom-Effekt. Man braucht eine Szene, in der schnell geradeaus geflogen wird. Die Nachbearbeitung ist recht einfach. Zunächst wird die ganze Flugsequenz gezoomt, z.B. auf 140%. Damit bekommt man am Anfang der Sequenz einen engen Ausschnitt (natürlich mit etwas Qualitätsverlust). Am Ende der Sequenz (z.B. nach einigen Sekunden) wird ein Keyframe gesetzt und der Zoom wieder auf 100% (Originalausschnitt) gesetzt. Jetzt berechnet z.B. Final Cut einen flüssigen Übergang von 140% in Richtung 100% Zoom und schon hat man seinen Dolly-Effekt!

@@geophotography Ist das mit extra Software erstellt worden oder ist das in der Mavic Air-Software integriert. Ich kenne Fast-Cut von Magix, aber von wem ist Final Cut. Bzw. welche Videobearbeitungs-Sofware nutzt du? Wirklich sehr schönes Video!

mega video!!!! brauchtest du eine Aufstiegsgenehmigung oder hast du einfach losgelegt? Fliege nächste Woche auch und weiß noch nicht, ob ich die Mavic mitnehme. Habe bisschen Angst vor Ärger und Klagen nach dem Hochladen :)

Solange man rücksichtsvoll fliegt und niemanden über das allgemeine Lebensrisiko hinaus gefährdet, gibt’s denk ich keine Probleme. Statt einer Klage sollte eher ein Dankeschön kommen. Solche KZread Videos sind schließlich nix anderes als kostenlose Werbung für die Region.

Thanks! I never use ND filters. There's no need for motion blur when converting the clips to 60 fps.

wow Did you really shoot this with the Mavic Air ? If so wow best Drone Video I've seen yet with it! Just a few questions : Did you set the Drone to points of interest to get them nice circle pan shots and then move the camera ? Its just all your shots are silky smooth..... Also did you use ND Filter and if so what one ? Cheers Jas - Sub From me. I'm, interested to know your settings as I just got one myself :)

Thanks man! It's all Mavic Air footage flown manually, no automatic flight modes were used. Important for smooth circles: Try EXPO 0.2 for right/left and Yaw Movement Limit to 35. This worked fine for me. And I don’t have any ND filters. Have fun with your Mavic! :)

I'm sure this was an illegal flight. In Mallorca is near to impossible to find a spot where you can fly a drone.

Nice shots. However it's too obvious that some scenes were speed up from 30 to 60 fps, to acquire fluidity. That's why i use 2.7K. You get real 60 fps and resolution difference isn't really noticeable. Great job though.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, sometimes I like fast movement and turns, so I speed up by 2x or 4x. To get 60 fps out of a 30 fps clip, the new Optical Flow in FCPX works great, too. Just needs some CPU power to render. 2.7K60 is also great.

Some awesome shots, great flying! I love your videos, watched them all, subscribed your channel a while ago. In terms of song selection and editing this video I don’t consider your best piece. The screens are cut to the beat in a repetitive and predictable manner, the sequences lack variety imho. Nevertheless 👍

Danke für den ausführlichen Kommentar, Alexander! Recht hast du, die Szenen sind hier sehr symmetrisch geschnitten. Liegt wahrscheinlich auch am gleichmäßigen Rhythmus der Musik. Viel mehr Locations hat der Kurzurlaub leider nicht hergegeben, dafür war es oft zu stürmisch auf der Insel. Vielleicht nächstes Jahr im Teil 3 ;)
