You know he's superhuman when he operates pedals with both feet while standing

Those sounds are unbelievable! And played so wonderfully. I love my malletkat! Gush gush. I looked at a few of your videos and loved the older ones with wires and electronics in the scenes. It's clear from the vids that Mario is not only a virtuoso musician but also an electrical engineer. As a result, his desire to express himself musically synergized with his attraction to wires and electronics to create the most unbelievably-musical midi-controller on the market.

I love my MalletKat that I purchased from Kraft Music as a kit with stand and mallets.I would suggest that the mallets be changed as they were light duty marimba mallets that were very loud when striking the playing surface,I would be curious to see what mallets Mr DeCiutiis would recommend. That is the only thing I would change in the kit.I personally use an Innovative Percussion JT 23 vibe mallet which is a medium soft but plays well on the instrument.I have had excellent experience dealing with both Kraft and Alternate Mode who makes the MalletKat in terms of dealing with service problems who resolved my issues quickly and professionally.Lots of fun to gig with.

Alternate Mode recently collaborated with Vater Percussion and developed a set of mallets specially matched to the performance of the MalletKAT. They are much more responsive and provide a better feel. We have them in stock here: www.kraftmusic.com/kat-percussion-kt-mal-s-malletkat-mallets.html Thanks for watching! -Dave

Is there really a need for this? I guess if you play the marimbas then maybe this is something you'd like to do.
