My grandmother's family was born in Kalyvia/Gonence. They left in 1922. Sadly she never returned but she left us beautiful memories of her village and its spirit. I am very happy to see that this spirit continues to live in your hearts, in your music and dance. My hope, one day, is to visit Gonence and bring back a handful of soil to place on her grave, close to her heart. Thank you for posting your video…keep on playing music and keep on dancing!
