MALICE MIZER - Garnet~禁断の園へ~ PV [HD 1080p] (lyrics & instrumental)
Музыка
Hello there everyone, here is the PV or MV for Garnet~禁断の園へ~ by MALICE MIZER, in 1080p HD quality. This is not a poorly upscaled one, but a very good rip from the original DVD (Cardinal). This is the best quality possible.
Here it is, the last PV made by MALICE MIZER. Their last song, but still one of their best.
Also, at the time of uploading this, I have exactly 20.000 subscribers!! I'm so happy, after so many years on YT this is a big milestone to me.

Hard to believe that this was their last and final song released before the break-up. Such a fitting tune though; not too happy or sad, but a curious sounding piece that spoke of an untold destiny yet to come to fruition.

@@yolk-fv4zs Yeah whatever people like you is another reason why the Visual Kei community is the way it is. I never mentioned Mana but here you are pressed.
i've been listening to malice mizer since the late 90s and have seen the progression of styles from one vocalist to another, with my favourite being klaha. I felt there were growing musically, bara no seidou was a surprise and was really happy to then listen to gardenia and then garnet. Unfortunately, all good things had to come to an end and that unfulfilled potential had come to an end with this song. Its really hard coming back after the departure of hugely successful Gackt and the loss of Kami. A darker goth themed and opera baritone like klaha probably put away some fans who had been used to the largely different Malice Mizer with Gackt hanging around. I felt klaha wasn't even truly releasing 50% of his potential and if they had hung around longer, he would have more chance to showcase his vocal artistry. I felt that with Gardenia it was like a homage and cross revisiting of voyage and merveilles. I often wonder if the band had stayed on to release more stuff after garnet, how would a slower song actually sound like with their line up? Garnet always impressed me with Yu~ki's basswork.

@@sauerguerkchen3015 The cross. The white on the dress symbolising purity and virginity. The white flowers symbolising the same. The way the girl falls at the start. She is fallen and the purity petals are all scattered about the filthy floor. There's the snake that goes about. The snakeish-like tongue and demonic way she turns. The way the petals are then covered with blood. That's like another purity/virginity being lost and the blood taking it over. The girl bites the pure white petals as well and they come out totally red. She has decided to eat her purity. They're all dressed sort of druid-like as well and standing about like it's some sort of druid ritual. There's a staff as well. And the garnet/ruby/gem seems sort of alchemy-like. The blood is on her hands.... She has done it. The serpent slithers away, it's work of temptation done. The pure-girl is on the floor, the pure-petals are on the floor; the filthy floor. She's sacrificed that now. It's gone and dead. The whole thing has a sort of "purity being tempted and tainted by the serpent" feeling to it. ~=~=~=~=~ It's all something like that when I look at it. x

Honestly I have no clue what most of their music videos mean, I think a lot of it is just Cool Dark Gothic Imagery™️. Like it’s more about capturing the general ~vibe~ of the song rather than any specific meaning behind the stuff in the video.
