Malevolent Creation were a death metal band that did not get enough recognition... they still are an incredible death metal band. Sadly, the original vocalist here, Bret Hoffman passed away in 2018 from cancer (R.I.P.) ... Guitarist Rob Barrett (Cannibal Corpse) was a member... played on a few of their records. 'Ten commandments' was the debut album in 1991 by Malevolent Creation... one of the early death metal records, along w/ releases by Morbid Angel, Obituary, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse... the line-up was: Brett Hoffman (vocals), Phil Fasciana (guitar), Jason Blachowicz (bass), Mark Simpson (drums) & Jeff Juszkiewicz (lead guitar). Currently, only guitarist Phil Fasciana is an original member of Malevolent Creation... Their best records are: 'Retribution' (1992), 'Stillborn' (1993), 'The fine art of murder' (1998), 'Envenomed' (2000), 'Warkult' (2004), 'Doomsday X' (2007)... Their latest album is 'The 13th Beast' (2019)

The Ten Commandments is seriously one of the best debut albums ever.

Already a great song, then somehow gets even better with James Murphy shredding that lead at the end.

Cheers. Death Metal from 90s is the best, and all the albums under the production of scott burns, they are all classics.
