There were days I would just shut all the lights in my room and lie on my bed underneath my blanket and not get up , not get food . I think he was mad at the biological differences of men and women. That men can be a drug addict and not have it directly affect their baby, unlike women. Apparently it’s a privilege.. that’s how I took what he said at least.

@@kansas8152 that's a valid enough argument but no one should be doing drugs anyway

@Miskatonic Scholar Exactly, ☺ people will make all sorts of things that sound like a good argument but when you actually annotate it and relate it to something similar it sound really stupid.

Especially if its “her body, her choice”. In his mind the man should still be punished even if it’s her choice?

Hear me out, as this will sound contradictory to each other, but is a valid point. I'm pro-choice, but I like to play devils advocate a lot, I always entrap pro-choicers with a question. Should a woman be held accountable for what she consumes while pregnant. They almost always answer "yes definitely", followed by asking them how does that not contradict their pro-choice stance.

The point of most females not actually wanting to vote, this was ACTUALLY true of many slaves. The majority of slave owners actually treated them exceedingly well and they loved there lives. Many did not leave the plantations and even took there owners names. I do not recall if it was my father or my grandfather story’s, as it was awhile ago and they are now dead. They had a few girls in there elementary school, and all they wanted to do was grow up and works on his moms plantation. The kids didn’t even want to leave. The majority of slaves were treated well. I do not deny the bad

Promoting equality is NOT lowering the STANDARD!!! says a 14yr Navy veteran and Auxiliary Fire Fighter… a STANDARD is there because it’s already the “lowest” qualifying mark.
