the repressed alter ego which is the Frankenstein monster is also, in my opinion, the artist's creation which (s)he is always responsible for. Anything you create is your responsibility. Paintings, novels, poems, all the way to up to a sculpted Ego.

You should do an interpretation of The Forbidden Planet, where at the pinnacle of their advanced technology, the Krell (the original inhabitants of the planet) were destroyed by their own monsters of the Id - of the subconscious mind -projected into the hologram of "reality" and destroyed them all. Certainly got very close parallels with what's going on today and what we have to wake up from and transcend.. It's the one movie that no-one seems to have considered in that way, yet it is the most startlingly clear. Certainly a good one for film night!
