I am planning to go there with my wife, I would like to try “blue bowls” spot, it doesn’t look like to challenging waves, do you have any information how to get there and did you stay on the boat your all trip or did you “ lodging and eating” on the island ? Thank you

Hi, Fab24hdumans, I have gone 4 years already (not this one though), always staying in a boat from surfboat.ch from Eric, friend of mine. You can also get there in the island and lodge. I believe there are at least two places with A/C (you need it) and it is a cheaper way of going since the boat is around 260-280 dollars a day with everything included (really good food, by the way)but beer included. Waves are not huge, but depending on the level of the surfer, they could be some days. You have all the info in surfboat.ch Take care!

WeiS PRoDuCTioNS thank you so much for the info, my wife is not a big fan of boats so will try to gather information on lodging. But I will need to catch a boat to reach the spot? Or I just need to swim from the beach? Thank you again for your prompt answers

You can swim there, but it is better with a boat. A couple of friends have stayed in one of the lodges (I don´t recall which) after being at the boat the year before, and were pretty happy about it. I reacll the cost is about half the boat. Difference then? Well, with the boat your are right there, so you can have 4 sessions a day if you want. If you are up at 7, Vadhoo (Blue Bowls) is just for you, not even with locals. As of being at the village of the island, there is not much to do (you have some footage of the village in this longer version of the video I made kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZmGhtdGAZda6kZM.html Check at 9:45) besides reading and go surfing. It takes longer to get to the spot than from the boat (say 30 minutes), but it is still confortable enough to go 2-3 times. All this I am saying i am repeating like a parrot, except the village part, which I did visit. You have a doctor there also. Vadhoo is a consistent wave, unlike the rest of the spots. I would say you will surf 75 percent of the times at Vadhoo and not at other spot. Other spots are around 30 minutes from Vadhoo. I love the spot, and it rarely gets crowded, even though last year I was told it did some days...Do not hesitate to ask me more questions.
