With a rich family history in Aviation, former Oil Trader & Royal Marines Reservist, Richard Browning, founded pioneering Aeronautical Innovation company, Gravity Industries in March 2017 to launch human flight into an entirely new era.

    @@Taricus I initially thought it was reflective material but reflective material only looks bright when seen from near the same angle as the source of the light. At 2:06 you can see the LEDs on the strips. They're lights, not reflectors.

    They certainly would need a transponder, ATS-B, and comms with ATC - to enter controlled airspace. The blanolirio channel (on KZread) discusses a fairly recent aircraft incursion with a jet pack near LAX.

    Yes, although this flight is over water apart from take off and landing, and at relatively lower speeds and altitude. So good to see comfort always increasing. A resort in the Maldives helps keep things relaxed too ;)

    1960s actually made jetpack possible. This is just a refined propulsion tech, which already existed in the 1960s.

    Not practical yet, jet engines burn a lot of fuel, if I am correct, he gets less than 5 min flight time.

They are always questionable, bulky. impractical and dangerous. Flight time is always very short. I'm not sure why this company keeps banging their head against the wall. That thing is a joke. That video was edited to show the few short clips yet still fails to impress.

    I see in the comments that a lot of people underestimate the skill and muscular strength needed to fly this contraption. Don't understand why there isn't a substructure combined with harness to relief the pilot's arms/shoulder/breast. There seems to be enough power available to carry the extra few lbs. On the other hand , ...these people , more than probably , know very well what they are doing.

    Nah, that thing is heavy, if he do a backflip the gravity will pull him down and probably will not recover until he touch the ground, and a barrel roll will be catastrophic, this machine just work when you are vertical.

    Actually not really the triple propell system keeps you balanced. As long as you can hold your arms out in front of you this is not bad at all. It's much harder to balance on two bars than this.
