ive just got to clarify this.....barramundi are only classified as " good eating " fish because the fillets of meat on either side of it are easily removed from the animal and they have no miniscule bones in them. so in regards of quantity of edible flesh and lack of hairline bones they are a top fish. on a flavor scale there are many, Many, MANY fish that are considerably better tasting

Hunters and gatherers , harsh climate doesn't allow for much else since why they are still semi nomadic , once they depopulate resources in one area to the point where it can't support the tribe they move to next area , all climate related .

As some people might think this way of life is so very different and barbaric, look at humans in modern society. Still brutally killing and destroying things or other humans on mass scales to feed our greed. Humans have what all animals have. We have to thirst for more. We are the same as these men, we are the same as fish, as lions, as maggots. We are animals. We must not forget. We often think we are so advanced. Life is a repetition of the same cycles and stories. It’s bleak and cold. It’s warm and beautiful. It’s life.

Suppose those bats aren't carriers. I suspect bats in urban areas where they can come into contact with rabies via rats, cats, dogs etc. might have a higher chance of being carriers, but bats out in the middle of nowhere not so much

The only thing that tries to kill you are sharks, which can be argued is accidental, and crocodiles. Crocodiles WILL fuck you up. You're more likely to be attacked by a neighbour dog than killed by something in the wild.

Just came back from a 5,000km round trip from Melbourne to Cooper Creek, Innamincka, and Flinders Ranges. Camped out every night in a tent with no fly (dry season) and felt safer than at any time in a modern City. Get out there, leave the urban life behind and get in touch with your past. The camp fire and night stars rejuvenate like nothing else.

What happened to the aborigines? They look incredibly unfit. The women in particular look horrendously overweight. I have seen footage of them from the 40’s and they looked very fit, the women as well. What is this prevalence of leprosy that is mentioned? I would like to see if their is a correlation between the appearance of this disease and the widespread use of chemicals like DDT. There is a sense of casual ignorance about these issue present throughout this documentary, very strange.
