What is the difference between nasi padang, nasi kandar, etc.? This type of service is all over...I thought I was always being charged the "tourist" price because I seemed to always be charged more. Then they told me it was because I eat too much! 🤣🤣🤣🐷 oh well what can I do? Not eat less?

Nasi Padang is originally from Indonesia, Nasi Kandar is from Penang Malaysia. The danger about both is that.. all is cooked and ready to be served to you. So if all dishes would look good to you, there's a high chance you would point at so many things. Similar to a Filipino Karinderya, there should be at least 1 meat 1 veg and rice. And we normally ask for gravies / sauces of other dishes to be scooped in
