Malaysian hospitality made my mom cry 🇲🇾
Great day in Terengganu, Malaysia.
Terrapuri Resort happened to host an event called Nelayan Berkolek, where we saw many traditional arts and crafts, and a beautiful boat exhibition. There was demonstrations of traditional games including top spinning (gasing), and Steve even tried net fishing!
Crystal, mom's pen pal from Kelantan also visited us, and brought so many tropical fruits like dokong and passion fruits. It was also our parents' first time trying fresh coconuts!
Alex from Terrapuri brought us around Setiu, and we met the happiest man in Malaysia from rumah botol (bottle house). We went to see the famous boat building, and visited Alex's other traditional houses restoration project called Terramalai. One house is actually ready for rent!
Special thanks to Ping Anchorage and Terrapuri for hosting us!

Dude.. your dad is good at explaining. Maybe you should brought him to some places that suits his specialties. And maybe he can share some knowledge with us.
Every time mum takes a bite, that long pause gives me apprehension.😂
mum I'm sure you will going to miss MALAYSIA too much.

Nah itu naru namanya budaya identitas Budaya pribumi kan senang Orang Asing tau budaya sesungguhnya malasia. Selama ini Orang Asing pergi ke Malasia buat konten yang ada malah ditonjolkan Budaya *China Tiongkok India Bangladesh* kan lucu rasanya. memang benar sih waktu pertama kali menginjakkan kaki di Malasia pandangan mata dilihat Budaya *China Tiongkok India Bangladesh* mendominasi sehingga budaya pribumi dan lokal harus dicari terlebih dahulu. Seharusnya pemerintah Malasia dan bagian Parawisata berperan disini bangkitkan budaya Pribuminya berbau lokal bukannya ditonjolkan *Budaya China Tiongkok India Bangladesh* serasa bukan seperti malasia pada umumnya. Mana Mana negara Pasti mempersembahkan identitas keunikan dari budaya adat istiadat negaranya. *Semoga ini didengar pihak pemerintah Malasia* .😊😊.

The main ingredient in sambal hitam is belimbing buluh (the one you had during lunch). This sambal came originaly from Raub, Pahang. Star fruit is called belimbing bintang. They are from the same family.
19:00 the Automatic change of your quiet dad after seeing what he knows best is really understandable.. to bad there no "home Depot" music "diy" in the background... 😅😅

This is Islam :) Sahih al-Bukhari 6136 Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should not hurt his neighbor and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should serve his guest generously and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should speak what is good or keep silent."
Very memorable moment and fantastic experiences. A nostalgic place in Trengganu, Malaysia.

I remember i watched your pakcik botol video during MCO 😂, now i saw him again, what an energetic pakcik
This is one of those up there ranking videos...
The Malays in Terengganu have plenty of time to explore their talents in their subsidized cost of living, especially for them only.
You are 100% your dad😊
Its quite hard to catch fish near the beach..depends on fish season and luck..if you lucky u can get squid and cuttlefish too!!!
love that "energy pakcik" at botol house.. me myself don't know if i can do what he do 👍🏼👍🏼
I am speechless with this video. I love all aspects. ❤

If tou go again to Melaka, can go to Taman Mini Malaysia. There are replicas of the traditional houses of the states in Malaysia. Also go to some natural hotspring that are still operating in Melaka.
Next time please come to my hometown,Dungun..not far away from kuala trg..🥰
We have d big star fruit which we normally eat as a fruit and wen it's ripe, it's orangy yellow. It has a tangy sweetish taste. It's called belimbing besi(or iron starfruit) , noted to b very nutritious fruit. D very small version of d star fruit is called belimbing buluh(bamboo starfruit). It can come in green or yellow colour, both r very sour fruits. We like them in our sambal belacan, or in our local dishes. I've a tree in my back garden, it's d yellow coloured fruit kind. Jus made some pickle of it, using salt and lots of suger. D belimbing juice will ooze out to pickle d fruits without additional vinegar to act as preservatives!
