My POV Reviews:
Oriental kopi:
Nothing special but kopi overall is nice. Food price tend to be on the high side.
Nasi lemak - rice got a funny grass feeling. Most probably is pandan. But not much coconut taste.
Mee Siam. Too spicy for PPOV. (Personal point of view)
Curry laksa - Duno how to appreciate…
Overall the food quite generous on the portion but the taste on PPOV is so so only. Can go for their kopi.
Egg tart- can eat if you like a lot of eggs. But some tables their tart looks dry and burnt.
Nam Heong:
Prawn noodle- normal Malaysia type of prawn noodle- old town style
Soup- the soup is flavourful and pack with yao Cai.
Bao- big Bao and char siew ones. Big and quite a lot of fillings.
Prawn fry kway tiao- the presentation is nice. The gravy everything is good. But what I cannot accept is the kway tiao. Cause fry with black sauce totally sweet and cannot mix with the gravy.
Har Gao- normal
Siew Mai- Still acceptable
Soup is something like hand made fish paste soup. That one I feel the nicest of all. 😂
Chendol- By the time we finish our meal. Melt already. Not exciting and a lot of ice and water only.
Ding Tai Fung:
Food tastes the same as Singapore’s style and taste, eating at Malaysia more worth 🤡
Tokyo Secret:
Tea was made with tender loving care as they will let the tea sit until it is ready to drink then they serve. The tea is nice compliment to the cake. Cake not so sweet.
