This year Independence Day parade (31 August) will be held in Putrajaya. Wide road (boulevard) 1km before Palace of Justice towards mini roundabout in front of Pink Mosque is parade will take place. VIP seats will be just in front of Palace of Justice and it is the best spot to witness parade. If you guys still in Malaysia please come to this event.

While it's so awesome to see tourist sing praises of our country when they visit tourist hotspots like KLCC, Batu Caves or much of those big**ss malls, it is just so refreshing to discover your take on Putrajaya, our kinda best kept secret. In the 90s, we used to have FloraFest. It was an annual event akin to the Pasadena Floral Parade in the US. There were floats made up entirely of fresh flowers like roses, hibiscus, orchids and hydrangeas. The flowers came from the Cameron Highlands in the state of Pahang. It was one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Tourism Malaysia calendar. Not just float parades, but even hotels and malls were decorated with fresh flowers. I guess now they have replaced it with Floria in Putrajaya.

It is a shame that many tourists don't know anything about Putrajaya when they visit KL - it is literally between KLCC and the Airport. I went to Putrajaya and loved both masjids, the parks, the lake and the bridges as well as the Presidential House. Putrajaya is a hidden gem that is worth visiting

That said, we thought Putrajaya is a really pretty city and it is a more central location than Ipoh, i.e. 30min from both KL and the International Airport. We are guessing it might be more cost effective than living in KL and has more of a 'green' vibe, with plenty of parks and walking spaces.

KUALA LUMPUR = Capital City of Malaysia PUTRAJAYA = Federal Government Administation Centre CYBERJAYA = Multimedia Super Corridor Town *Although Putrajaya became our Administration Centre, our PARLIMENT BUILDING was still in Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur stand still as Malaysia' s capital, not Putrajaya. Putrajaya play the role as the Federal Government Administrative Centre.

Putrajaya is not Malaysia's capital. The capital of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur. Putrajaya is 'Federal Government Administrative Centre' of Malaysia.

You have NEVER HEARD OF it because it is NOT A CAPITAL. Putrajaya is the Malaysian Federal Government administrative centre. Our capital is Kuala Lumpur.

Hai, terima kasih sudah menonton. Kami pikir arsitekturnya memang mengakui struktur tradisional Melayu. Kami menganggap arsitektur Islam sungguh indah, namun keindahan selalu tergantung pada yang melihatnya dan tidak semua orang akan menyukainya.
