Turkiye defense industry is developing rapidly from technology transfer programs. In 10 years it could become a major power in Europe. I hope many Turkiye companies will open thir offices in Malaysia JV with local companies. We have so much to learn from Turkiye

Malaysia should purchase and set up a fleet of drones to monitor its costal lines in Sabah Sarawak and also Peninsular Malaysia. A navy ship that can carry and launch drones.

American colony or more on jealousy? 😂 Many ASEAN countries are still jealous about the closeness of PH and US.🤣 US is the biggest trade partners of PH with a whooping $148billion dollars every year and why would you not go against US they ae the no.1 economy in the world and US is also helping the PH semiconductors industry to boom. The outsourcing business also take a huge pat on PH economy. The PH has been the outsourcing capital in the world with so many establishments in PH connecting the US and the west. The US and PH relationship is more than 100+ years. Filipinos and Americans are not just a close ally but they are like family. Hawaii and Alaska is a mini Philippines with 60% filipino ethnicity. We shared each other culture and we are both christians.

This deal with Turkiye is a step in the right direction because Malaysia & Turkiye doesnt have a naval dispute. And the MILGEM project is Turkiye's national project that carry their pride. Therefore Malaysia can expect the best in shipbuilding.

Malaysia-Turkiye good relationship really depends on Erdogan and his style of leadership,and moderate Islamic values. but he is not that young anymore. Will there be more leaders like him in the future? Hopefully the next leader will not be a too liberal,secular one,or worse, pro-western. Turkiye after all is an Islamic country but still with a thick liberal and secular values among many of its muslim people(not all). The military/defence capabilities of Turkiye should be in the hand of someone who will defend this Ummah. It is the second strongest in NATO after USA.

The problem with Western talking points is that it's mainly from the Western perspectives. If China invades Taiwan, the whole PLA can be categorized as a terrorist group like Iran's IRGC. Only UNSC should be able to determine what groups are considered terrorists so that the term does not become a political tool to demonize any army that the West considers an enemy.
