The rule is the ball need to fully pass the line to consider the goal. As per referee told, the ball not fully pass the line hence goal is not given. I think if we have VAR checking would be best way to decide

As a Malaysian, I was shock Indian 3rd goal was disallowed.. It should be 4-3 instead of 4-2.. The ball crossed the line!! Sorry for the horrible pitch conditions.. The new grass had just been planted less than a month before the competition.. the Malaysia National stadium shouldn’t be used at least for another 1-2 months and other stadium should be chosen instead. The Football Association of Malaysia received heavy criticism from Malaysian football fans because it could potentially injuring Malaysian players too! Btw, the first goal by India is beautiful👏🏻👍🏻 love from Malaysia 🇲🇾

Good game for the neutral, but if that goal went in and India equalized at 3-3, the game would have been very different. But that doesn't excuse our defensive performance today. Malaysia were absolutely dominating our midfield. Rohit Kumar is not up to the level. Jhingan and Anwar Ali is the only good centre back pairing I've seen so far. Also I'm pretty sure, based on all the matches under Stimac so far is that our best midfield 3 is Sahal, Jeakson and Thapa. Hope Stimac actually picks the best team we have for the Asian Cup and the World Cup qualifiers.

The goals scored by India made me forget the results. Defense needs to be fixed before we go into the WC qualifiers. We have very good and effective wings & striker but the problem is the connection of ball from defence to mid and mid to front is not exactly working 😢.. The only reason I can think of for the disallowed goal is that the goalkeeper fell down and blocked the view of the linesman. Come to think of it, in the absence of VAR or goal-line technology, this can certainly happen. If stadiums do not have the resources for these tech, then FIFA should atleast consider something on the lines of line judges that are there for sports like badminton or tennis. Its crazy to expect the linesman to be able to cover so much ground and be accurate although the game may depend on it.

@@Shivam-rc6fx Most big team in Southeast Asia look weak just because of their poor ranking.. It's because many of the competitions in Asean before were held outside the FIFA calendar which didn't offer many points. So they lost a lot of points there. Now you can see teams like Malaysia and Indonesia their ranking increase quickly. Like India before

I’m a Malaysian and I agree that goal crossed the line, but the most important thing is look on the big picture, this game revealed all the loopholes for both teams to rectify their mistakes to do better in bigger games! Chin up!

The morality went down of the Indian team after the goal was not given even though it was a goal. Hence, morality is very important. Great battles in history was won by crushing the opponents morality. In this game the referees took Malaysian side. A bit unfair but a good game for both sides. Well done to both!
