Am I the only one who thought she made an already cramped room look even more cramped?

He turned 20. And these Mumbai aunties gave him a 12 years old new room. Now imagine after 6 years he will turn 26 and he will have this room. It should have been given a classy artistic, youthful, and bit mature style look. That bring out young responsible man in him. And in own taste. These days young generation are far ahead of their age. Come to Delhi Ncr we will show you what style, taste, infrastructures, fashion and lifestyle is.

Basically the renovation was: Ad for Kurl on, and ad for Ddecor.

I liked the old room, it was so simple yet beautiful suitable for a young Adult. This new room has such a big Anime doesn’t look age appropriate.

I like the new room, idk why people in the comments section don’t like it.

Would like to know son's feedback. Loved the curtain before and after and the way it was opened half way, that is a completely different and unique style.Anime a bit hyped for his age, could have toned it a little down.Otherwise room looks luxurious.

agree Arhaans reaction on camera would have been delightful, plus I guess they went slightly overboard with anime otherwise all good

Before after pictures should be shown in slow-motion to feel the change......videos r too quick and cud not make-out the difference in TV unit area....only bed was the focus....must improve

I personally think that this room looks great. The upholstry to colour schemes and the natural light in the room all compliment one another.

How can you call it renovation? Changing pillow cover and wallpaper?

Loving and liking anime doesn't mean you have to fill the room with all anime prints .Lol ...This is a total disaster 😭😭Old room was much better . In my view ,you could have used different wallpapers.

Honestly, it's the worst interior design show, where they talk about everything else but interior design, Netflix shows about interior design have great standards. I feel like I have designed my home better than her design sense, just by watching netflix shows, she doesn't have any oomph factor in her designs. They lack soul or information. I can't believe she put anime on everything, less is more, that's so childish design sense.

I disagree the show is a different format and she achieves the look in less time so that's the plot hence you won't see civil changes and massive redesigning but more over haul. It's more about getting a glimpse into celeb personal space .

This one is the best out of all so far I have seen. simple but done very intelligently.

How did Arhaan find it? I think his reaction is the most important. I did not see much change, just cosmetic changes like wallpaper, bedsheets and pillow covers. I don't think that can be called renovation

Gorie khan doesn't seem to know what a renovation is from a low budget rearrange/restyle of a room.renovation is when you breaking down wall to open and close a space . With all due respect I admire her for this show and finally making her own space in show business but she still has a long way to go with interior design.

Beautiful makeover. But really an Anime character wall for 20 year old? I was bit skeptical to see anime character on the wall. But in the end everything blended really well and wall colors/curtains bed color etc everything complimented very nicely. All new gen yet very soothing to eyes. Good job. …on a side note… it’s hilarious how Malaika called her 20 year old son as ‘Big Boy’. Thank you Gauri for calling him ‘Young Man’😁

Gauri just took the essence of Arhaan's room.. inshort ruined.. his old room had a personal touch.. this one.. 👎🏻.. it's like when you say someone hide n seek is my favourite biscuit & the person keeps on giving you hide n seek till the time you start hating it.. she did it with anime.. his old room had all in one anime frame, Naruto.. everything but this one just have 1 huge wallpaper & everywhere same on the pillows & cushions.. i wonder she call herself a Interior Designer 🙄 Arhaan's choice was really very simple to understand by watching his old room.. i don't know anything about the guy but by watching his room i can say he loves to be sophisticated with his natural personal kind touch.. his room is his tiny world with his sensibility, love, childhood, college memories, & his love for Anime.. Gauri failed in understanding the client.. she gave what she wanted to give not what the client wants.. inshort she just gave her own touch when she was asked to observe & give Arhaan's touch to the room.. i mean what kind of a designer does that 🤦🏻

I don't know why the hate. It looks great. And the mom looks genuinely happy.

Agreed. Plus true anime fans would love having anime themes. I would have added more Naruto since he is a fan. Do the others not know about comic con and anime con all over the world? How big anime truly is? for all ages. Maybe it’s a US thing and in India it’s not so big so the older gen don’t understand?
