I have the Malahit dsp2, it is simply fantastic radio, the best I have ever owned The RX is outstanding nr is a joy I could go on and on, but I think you get me.

You are correct on some sort of agreement. From what I’ve read Malahit licensed to the Chinese based vendor directly. This allows them to do their great work creating these radios/software and have an avenue to sell to a larger consumer base than they would be able to do otherwise!

Cool little receiver. Can Malahit they produce a transceiver? A person could purchase an MFJ-1708B (switch) and use the Malahit receiver with any transceiver of choice. Keep up the great videos. 73

My 1st attempts at air traffic was even more challenging than yours lol. I caught one short transmission … lol. I’ll have to figure out the scanning option at some point..

It was through your videos that I decided to purchase a Malahit DSP2. It was delivered yesterday and I have to say it is every bit as amazing as I had hoped. I also purchased from amazon 2 donut antennas. One for SW/Ham, and the other for AM. The come as a set for about $25. My hope is to use the radio as a portable. These antennas are incredible when paired with this radio. In just 24 hours with this combination I have 20m and 80m hams up and down the band. And AM broadcasts from all over the country at night. If you are wanting to try running portable and not use the extendable whip, you may want to review these small orange and blue donut antennas. Thank you for your reviews. I’m thoroughly impressed. 73.
