    Miller was a 15 point guy in a defensive era. Even Brewer could get you 10-15 a game. Flynn barely ever cracked the rotation on a mediocre Raptors squad. This is a whole different level of crazy

    This was a nice 50 point game too. Most people score 50 and 30 of it is free throws. Malachi was cooking everybody off the dribble, off the screen, pull up jumpers, 3s and mid range, also scoring inside. Very impressive game. 👏

    He had played in 62 games this year going into tonight not 17. 31 for the Raptors, 14 for the Knicks and now 18 for Detroit. He is also averaging 12+ minutes per game for the season and was getting more playing time playing in TO then in Detroit. Its not like he hasn't had the opportunity to put up more than 5 pts a game this year or for his career for that matter, he just hasn't done it till this past week.

    as great as a 50 point game is its still only one game. It's not like Flynn has been lighting it up for any of the three teams he has played for this year any more than he did under Nick Nurse. He is 4.6/1.6/1.6 for the season on 41% shooting.

Flynn seems like a great guy and I would love to see him succeed but he has the same crap shooting percentage and hasn't really done any better at all since Nurse. Yes, Flynn is playing far and away the best ball of his career right now but its only 4 games and 4 games means nothing even if one is a 50.

Some players have all the requisite skill to pull off stuff like this but seem to only have the confidence to pull it off when they wake up on the right side of the bed. Raptors drafted him because they saw the highs but let him go because of the lows.

    @@D4PPZ456 and he was given many chances too. Even though Nurse was a problem when playing his bench, the times when Malachi was called upon, it was a disaster. Even when Fred got injured and Flynn had to start, he was up and down. Masai and Bobby refused to trade him after 2 seasons of mediocrity.
