I have never eaten at a place like that where they prepare the food right in front of you and serve it to you right off the grill. After watching your video this is a bucket list item for me now. We always enjoy a Japanese Steakhouse. It's fun having the food cooked right in front of you (much better than going to Subway!). We always enjoy the tricks and jokes too. Looks like this was an excellent value and really nice people working here. Thanks for sharing!

We just love Makotos , one of our favorites. Don’t get there often enough. So glad you got to go. They do give generous portions. We have been watching all your recent videos of the restaurants at the beach, your trip to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and the cute motel there. Those are some of our favorite areas to visit. The one in Pigeon Forge is one of the best that we have been to. It's David's favorite place to eat in Pigeon Forge. You will enjoy it. Try to go at lunch time because the prices are cheaper and the portions are still huge.

@@vafunseekers We will have to try it. Going at lunch and the lower prices, was one of the reasons I was concerned that the portions would be small. I was pleasantly surprised about that. Still have enough for lunch today!

Wish I could drag Ginger into a Japenese Steakhouse ,lol ! Its just not her thing. I've always loved to watch them prepare the eats! . I'm surprised the chef didn't do a volcano onion? By the way when I make the sweet or as they call it candied carrots, I use a combination of butter , brown sugar and honey . I'll send yall the recipe. Great video as always!

Yeah, we've seen them toss shrimp before, but never rice. That could get messy.

Derrick, ive tried to leave you a comment on this video and the last one as well. But youtube keeps removing them. It was about where you can do trivia on youre favorite TV show. They just removed a word from this comment. Ill try spacing and see if that works. I used May and Berry together. But that word was removed.

I have no idea why that would be happening. I have set KZread to not allow comments containing certain words, but those are all vulgar or cuss words. And honestly, sometimes it holds comments for review, that don't contain anything wrong. I don't know why it would remove something with Mayberry in it. That's ridiculous. I'm sorry that's happening. I'll go and look at the ones that are held for review, to see if they are in there.

You can make your little snarky comments on videos like this, but one thing you will not do, and we will not allow you to do, is to come and insult my wife and her brother on a beautiful video about their reunion. This man went through a lot of pain growing up, and you want to come on there and be insulting? And you think we're going to allow you to do that? Did you notice that nobody else but you, made a negative comment? You're the only one. That shows that most of the other people are nice and kind individuals, and you are not a very good person at all. You're a coward who hides behind a profile and won't even show your face, yet you want to come on here and insult others. You need to grow up. I mean, calling people "fatty"?
