Just got this from the Home Depot, such an improvement from my old ni-cd porter cable set that I've had for over a decade. 🙏

Considering this for my 1st tool kit!

I wish they can replace reciprocating saw for multi tool or something else, but this is still great combo.

There's a black metal steel ( T ) like piece that was inside the box in an embedded position almost, still not sure what it was for, thats why today, I'm doing all this watching all the unboxing of this 8 pc kit.

@@woodenshed same here, I have that same set now, and I've expanded with some other Makita toys too, I bought a 2 pack of the 5 amp battery plus another quick charger for $141 Amazon, also the Hedge trimmer, I bought the 1/4 drive ratchet, and my latest was the cordless reciprocating (Sawmill) saw, a more heavier duty than the sawmill the 8 pc came with but non (Brushless). I'm so satisfied with my Makita tool set. I went from a Portable Cable which I gave to one of my sons and the Makita is an upgrade for self.

That's amazin tools

Bad idea to use the batteries before you charge them. They need some charge in them to take an initial charge. Found this out when I googled how to ID a battery for warranty. ( unrelated but was interesting to just how many people have caused themselves this exact problem)

Good point. I guess it's Makita's decision. I have no problem with a single charger so far, I'm not super heavy contractor, only DIY projects and very rarely charging blocks my job.

Le agradezco mucho pero no tengo dinero para comprar esas increíbles herramientas, están realmente buenas además que la marca Makita es una de las mejores en todo el mundo,hace un tiempo consulte en un local de ventas de estás herramientas pero no están a mi alcance ,algún día talvez pueda comprar ,hoy me es inalcanzable, grácias por su corazón, que esté muy bien, saludos desde chile.
