Don't be afraid to use what you have. Give it a go. KZread tries to make it as easy as possible to upload. The hardest part must be confidence and starting. I love watching everyone's adventures from all perspectives. The people who can't get out and about really appreciate all your efforts. My infirm in-laws sat back reminiscing before they passed on. Thankyou. ❤️

Thank you mate, yes you’re right you do need the confidence to put yourself out there but we are really happy that people who can’t travel are able to enjoy and relive some happy memories.

That was great. My boss said even I might be able to do a video when we eventually can get on the road and then the family can watch what we are doing. So thank you very much for the simple explanation Steve.

I use a Drone (DJI air 2) and Iphone 13 pro max, I first used KZread just a place to store videos, never really progressed to front of camera, do a lot of hipcamps so by default fell into doing reviews and footage so people can decide their next camp spot. Good video of yours, gave me insight into how others do it. Keep up the good work. Do all my editing on the phone using Videoleap.

thank you and sorry for the late reply. I’ve never seen the Videoleap app or program but I’m just gonna have a look at it cause I’m looking for something to replace iMovie as I have issues with sound.

Thanks for the simple explanation of how you get together your You Tube clips. You didn’t say how you get the content from the go pro to the IPad tho.

Thank you, sorry I have a GoPro subscription ($79.00 per year) so when I put the GoPro(s) on charge they automatically upload to the GoPro cloud provided you have an internet connection and when I want to retrieve the footage I just download it to my IPad through the GoPro Quik app which is a free app at the App Store. It’s really simple to use and maintain. I hope that helps.

I upload everything to the GoPro cloud through a yearly subscription ($79) and just download it to the IPad as I need it. It’s a really simple process

Thank you I use the 256gb IPad Air (4th Generation) which is about 3 years old now and it works perfectly. I do need to clear the photo file regularly to make sure I have enough memory but I have a GoPro subscription that all our video is uploaded to. It’s very easy to download footage when you need it.

Great video mate. I take a lot of footage and every now and then cut a small video on iMovie for keep sakes. Do you do much work on your volumes as I find the clips have different volume levels depending on the environment. Or does your rode microphones eliminate most of that

  • @trip42australia

Thank you, yes we constantly struggle with volume issues even with the mics, I often either increase the volume in IMovie particularly when Allison is speaking or when it’s really bad we don’t use it. We are looking into different mics at the moment and potentially some new editing software but it’s very expensive.

I downloaded the Canva App and designed it myself with their free artwork. I originally made it as a KZread thumbnail but kept it as the logo. Canva allows you to download your designs in a lot of different formats so you can use it over a wide variety of different things. Hope this helps
