I've made the same mistake on the top piece. You have to draw the pattern on the wrong side using the bottom of the speaker. Or just remember to fit it with the speaker upside down.

Great video. Thanks. I cannot find premade covers for my speakers and this saves a lot of money. You've got some poison ivy on those trees behind you!!!!

Yep. Lots of poison ivy back there. I had to learn the hard way.

Instead of tape you can also use a hot glue gun. Some covers I make out of stretchy material. Slips on like a glove. Had them for ten years so far.

I buy them from a store called Harbor Freight. I've also seen similar blankets sold at Walmart

@@logisticalstyles Thank you, I bought them at walmart (blue), but maybe should've went with the ones from harbor freight for the black color. Either way, I really appreciate you making this video! It saved me a lot of money and all I needed was something to cover my speakers (same exact ones by the way) while in the car! The first one I made is sloppy and the second one looks a lot better! I even tried applying a little heat to get the adhesive to hold better with a medium-high temp iron using an old t shirt as a barrier. We will see how it holds up. Thank you again!
