    Great work. Looks like you have it ready to go. I try to get soil from job sights. Sometimes I have to find a drain ditch that is filled in. Most cases the ditch doesn't have much sifting, mostly silt.

    Thanks 👍. I used sand from a job site one year. That takes way less wax, but it's not always readily available.

    Today is first day in PA hope you do some sets on camera this year. Can't wait to follow your season. I know how hard trapping in PA is and you do a great job! God bless

    I put in a few sets today. I'm going to keep my line small until I fill my deer tags or archery season is over. It's easy to try to do too much stuff. Thanks for keeping up. I'm hope to post some stuff to twitter. It's new to me, but there is a link to it on my youtube channel.

    Thanks! I'm glad you like them. Season starts in 2 weeks here. I'll put out a small line while archery season is still in. Happy trapping/hunting to you as well.

    Fantastic videos! I'm from PA as well. I actually just made 60 gallons thanks to your video. For storage would it be ok outside in a shed? I have a big metal shed built over my wood burner (Would not run wood burner with it in there just trying to figure out where to keep it until season) im Worried about moisture out there with these temps. Im Thinking keep it out there or down in my basement Any advice would be great thanks!

    I would keep it in the shed unless your basement is super dry. Don’t seal it tight. Thanks for watching! Have a blessed day!

    @@bryannewman2546 Yes. If I stack the buckets, I us scrap pieces of wood to separate the buckets. No lids at all on lower buckets. Been working so far.

    There's a keeper joe may,he treats each month from spring to winter. I can't see the point in trying to make the bees varroa tolerant,unless you have lots and lots of hives. The losses are huge without treatment, yes there's a case for not using treatment and the varroa might become tolerant to treatments .

  • @shaunbarker9201
    @shaunbarker92016 жыл бұрын

    Sure we get varroa mites here,as well as wax moths but not small hive beetles as far as I'm aware. We treat the hives with oxalic acid with a vaporizer. Mite treatment is crucial, that's our view as they destroy hives over winter when they are clustering.

    I never made a serious effort at mite control. I need to make a better effort this year.

    how do you make cable restraints for coyote.only

  • @LiveMoreOutdoors

    @LiveMoreOutdoors

    If you watched my video on making them, the process is the same. I just use 1x19 Korean cable instead of 7x7, and I have to use a different BAD. It is a stiffer cable that is harder for a coyote to chew through. Although not impossible.
