May I interest you in… She-ra and the princesses of power? Here me out, two young women are raised in a military dictatorship raised from birth the be apart of the army. Adora is a golden child, while her best “friend” Catra, is the trouble maker. When adora realizes that her people are destroying villages and committing war crimes (also she discovers a magical sword and destiny or what ever) she leaves her old life to join the rebellion. She tries to convince Catra to come with her, that they’re be happier in the Rebellion, but catra refuses, her ambition to be the best keeps her in the hoard along with her trauma. Ok so spoilers but basically the first 3 seasons Catra slowly looses her grip on her sanity and mental health, basically having a mental breakdown, almost ending the world, wants all her MANY sacrifices to be worth it BECAUSE if she’s not successful, then there would be no point in staying and she should have gone with adora. Then after she gets usurped by (hear me out) Aliens, she does some meditation and self reflection and GOES BACK TO ADORA, joins the rebellion and as Adora sacrifices her self to save the world they kiss and finally admit their deeply ingrained love that THEY COULDNT FULLY EXPRESS BECAUSE OF HOW THEY WERE RAISED

Interestingly enough, a black man named James Hemmings actually popularized the Mac and cheese in America and served it to Thomas Jefferson. He was so good that he used his skill to bargain for his freedom by educating his brother in French cuisine. His brother Peter would go on to be a master brewer and gain his freedom after being freed by Jefferson’s relatives following the old president’s death

fun fact about john adams: he was super fucking loyal to his wife. to the point that even suggesting he cheat on her would piss him off. infidelity was so common in the french court that while he was serving as an ambassador there, he would sometimes get so aggravated that ben franklin had to tell him to calm down if he wanted to make any sort of agreement with them

James Hemings made this for Thomas Jefferson, introducing it to America. James was the first American to train as a chef in France. James was Mulatto, enslaved by the President of the United States at 8 years old. He was half sibling to Jefferson’s wife, Martha, and older brother to Sally Hemings. (Sally was owned by Jefferson and friend to his daughter. Sally was brutally SA’d at the age of 14 by Jefferson and she bore him children that he then became a deadbeat father of) Never forget

In Athens the two friends Harmodius and Aristogeiton put down the tyranny through their schemes and their bravery: this is why all tyrants and totalitarians are suspicious of strong friendships between men. Most of all this is feared by the middle-aged lesbos and defectives that are used as guards by our prison-states.
I am a big Hamilton fan, and in the song ‘Room Where It Happens’ T. Jeff says “I arranged the menu, the venue, the seating.” Even though he was just meeting with 2 people A. Ham and J. Mad, I can imagine T. Jeff just giving them Mac&Cheese 😂

Just not true? Literally just straight misinformation, Jefferson was selected for the committee of five because of his prominence, and he was selected from among them to make the first draft because he was the best writer. And writer as in the way he wrote, especially compared to the overlong way Adams wrote. Nothing to do with handwriting at all. No idea where you got that from?

Kpop stans when their favorite idols make eye contact for 3 seconds:
James Hemings made this for Thomas Jefferson, introducing it to America. James was the first American to train as a chef in France. James was Mulatto, enslaved by the President of the United States at 8 years old. He was half sibling to Jefferson’s wife, Martha, and older brother to Sally Hemings. (Sally was owned by Jefferson and friend to his daughter. Sally was brutally SA’d at the age of 14 by Jefferson and she bore him children that he then became a deadbeat father of) Never forget
