I would add caps on top of the feed stations... there is still a fair gap between the roof and the feeders for sideways rain to get the hops wet.

THIS is what I've been looking for. I'm not skilled in carpentry, but maybe could do this. I want to shade and protect birds & food from the elements - even water & snow. I live in the US, N.C. and learning who the birds are. Also a few rats that intrude. uh oh. I humanely trap any rats and put them in the country. NOT many so far & I want to figure out HOW to stop the feed from being WHY they are there, mostly on the ground. One is now under my shed. ugh. You did such a great job and I hope to emulate your ideas !! Good job !

Nice station! You’re so lucky you’ve not got any bears over there. This entire thing wouldn’t last a week in my yard 😕. My bird feeding station was similar to this one and a bear not only destroyed it in one night, he also dragged the entire thing out OVER our 4’ fence. We followed a trail of broken pieces over 100 yards away from the yard! We thought the raccoons were bad. Do you have raccoons there? We’ve had to put one inch thick 92” steel posts cemented in the ground, and I still have to bring my feeders in at night 😬 I’ve never seen anyone use actual sprays of millet. Very cool.

I love this. I love birds, I hanged 11 bird feeders in my backyard. I want to make station like this, how long those two poles and distance between poles. What's the length and width of the roof. Please let me know which kind of wood you used.

I literally just used scrap wood from around the farm :-) I think its about a 1m long and .5m wide for the table and 1.5m high

It's just made from standard 4 inch feather feather edge board and 2x4 they are about 30cm tall 👍👌

I wish you could have explained what you did.

That’s a bit to open if you had it near trees bird would come flocking to that feeder but looks really nice !!

Theres a fence behind it now with fruit trees along it, and tall wildflowers around it. The little birds tend to like it more than even the pigeons so far :-)

What is "featherboard"?

Feathered edge boards. Its has one side thicker than the other like a feather
