same but my prom is this year, and I will only be using the skirt as I have a bodice pattern I am absolutely in love with already, also it is gonna be detachable because i am wearing trousers underneath

If you aren't planning on making it yourself, check out the brand selkie! They have dresses that look nearly identical to this, and they're not horrible prices! My wedding dress will be a selkie dress 🩷

I'm not a girly girl, but I adore princess-type dresses and I think this one is absolutely ravishing with beauty.

Get a collapsible table from Walmart or Lowe's. They fold up to go in a closet but you can cut out without being in the floor. I love mine.

The ruffles on the slit is definitely my favorite part! It really completes the feel and look and makes it 10x more elegant than it already was. It’s SO pretty!

I'm gonna use this as a basis for my wedding dress 💗 I've been looking everywhere for a pattern like this, Please do make a pattern!

I know from some of my friends with pets, they put a decoy fabric next to them when they're cutting fabric. So the pets sit on the decoy and not on the working pieces. Maybe it helps. :'3

You sure are making your sewing machine work hard! Love the fabric and beautiful dress. I love the ruffle on the side too! Hope you have somewhere to wear it! Love that your pets want to help you with your projects!

Oh it was worth it! So pretty, the most beautiful color, and the ruffle up the slit looks amazing. I love to sew, mostly for my vintage dolls, but I'm such a novice! Had no idea there were foots for rolled hem and ruffling.
