Came back after a few years. you guys were my whole childhood, and you guys got me into arcade games! i just want to say thank you for being apart of me growing up.

There may be a winning logging system that gets messed up when you return prizes. Like how food servers have to account for all the food that goes to tables, carnival workers have to account for all prizes that get won. An excess tends to create red flags that employees are stealing (it's hard to explain). I wonder if that's why they were upset you returned the fish.

Former wacky wite operator tip: the base of the game at the bottom (the wizard or sometimes wooden block) is always wider than at the top. This means that you have the most room to make the 90 degree turn at the bottom when it rotates out toward you (the front of the game). Takes patience and practice but makes your winning odds WAY higher after you see the difference.

Watching you guys playing, winning and having fun makes me smile :)

It's so crazy that they still give out live fish these days. Especially when people are walking around a carnival with them all day. Hope your friend enjoyes the addition to their collection though 🙂

@@BlueYoshi85 Don’t think you can win goldfish any more over here - used to get these little plastic ducks where you can win a prize every time - nearly always something tacky, like an Elvis Presley mirror - a mirror with a silhouette of Elvis The Pelvis on it - or plastic sunglasses!

The goldfish are feeder fish for bigger fish, that’s why the carnival has them, either way they’re bound to die

I wish we ha carnivals like this here! There are some but very rare and much smaller but I really love carnival games i woul love to get to play them more often! i have never won any giant plushies like that before either they look so cuddly!! I will never understand how it is seen as okay to give away live animals as prizes though. i am so glad you returned it in at least that shows not supporting it. at least they weren't all pre-bagged and crammed in a barrel, slowly suffocating, like they usually are at those booths. It was a shubunkin goldfish btw :) ♥

These carnival do look hard to play

My grandkiddos and i were the last ones at ping pong gold fish ine year at the local festival and there were no more people as a big storm was building up so the guy was you win one you can have the rest. There were about 20 fish in the tank and they were breaking down to move towns. Of course they won but i have a 300 and 100 gallon fish pond in my back yard. There is a little water fall going from one to the other. All the fish went right in We had those fish for like 3 years before i had to buy more for the pond. I have big tubs in the basement with filters for winter as it gets too cold here to keep outside year round.

How have I not noticed before that she sounds a lot like Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls ?

It's a Shubunkin Sha like the start of shake bun like a hot dog bun kin like family put it together Shubunkin gold fish when I used to work at a pet store in northern wisconsin 3 years ago it was about 3.49 for a fish that size they can get about 5 times that size in the right tank in the right conditions and then it goes up to about 24.99 or there about but it's more expensive now.

Just saying if you keep that shubunkin, it needs a decent sized tank. They are a livelier type of goldfish with a kore streamline body. Needing more space.
