I've loved playing with this decklist! Sticking entirely to ACR cards makes the feel super thematic. It feels like I'm playing a precon themed around The Assassin Order. I did end up cutting Conspiracy and Roshan, Hidden Magister, though, as nearly all of the creatures in the deck are already assassins.

Cool thematic deck! Even if Assassin's Creed isn't my thing, it's cool that it is for someone else! Also I love Yaboi popping in randomly at 7:06

Love it definitely building Ezio! Also am I the only one who loves this set 😭

Honestly, I could easily imagine Designer working for Abstergo lol

Ever since they revealed Ezio, I really was considering building him as a commander. Thanks for this! Edit: after work, went and bought a bundle and actually pulled Ezio. Guess I just gotta do it now.

Nice! I've been brewing this Dimir too, and adding treasure synergies, to maybe hit that last ability late game. Seems like they've been pushing assassins as Dimir for a while.

altho i dont care abt ass creed, i really like thematic decks so its super nice to see you make a deck entirely out of this (pretty small) set! i guess it obviously comes with the downside of being very limited and frail to having ezio removed, but i really appreciate your videos and deckbuilding senses! cheers!

Will you put in the secret lair assassin reprints as well ?

@@remy333 on my ce box the most noticeable are 2 bmc, 1 ezio foil, 1 eched feast , 1 etched socrates and davinc, 1 temporal, 1 eched triad and 1 ea triad. I had to buy my own cover of darkness 🤣 bmc was also reprinted in ixalan so the prices are just tanking Someone people have better hits like edward kenway and a textured per box

The concept is pretty interesting, and I wonder if you can leverage the treasures off Edward to do the assassination trigger in late game. Could be fun to toy around with.

Yeah that was definitely an added bonus. I figured it'd be kind of rare so I didn't really bring it up. If you had access to fetchlands and duals, you could probably design a pretty solid mono-black centric deck with off color fetching to support the WUBRG and a few other cards to simplify the colors.

I decided to just build a deck with Ratonhnhaké:ton, and it is cracked. Grabbing Colossus Hammer from the grave and getting an 11/11 menace on turn 3 is crazy strong, especially if you can land Anna Kenerüd the next turn and turn it into a 21/21.

Connor is my favorite assassin so I've been tinkering with him more than I have than with Ezio... But I'm about to start cracking down and buying the cards I need to physically have the cards for him.. I've tried to balance the cards out and keep it in theme is kinda hard but I think it works completely good for me. I do like my list if you ever wanted to see my list!

I think extra combat steps would be nice and on flavor with double hidden blades

With it being 5 color would maskwood , conspiracy or Arcane Adaptationor be better to make your creatures assassins ? Also adding Ghalta equip it with brotherhood regalia and giving it a excalibur looks damn funny 🤣

Hi, I'm new to building decks for MTG. I was wondering if this deck is upgradable. For example, could I add the planeswalker Sorin, who makes opponents' life 10 to the deck?

@@OGMargon yes as long ezio does combat dmg to that player and that player has 10 or less life and paid WUBRG with Ramses on field you'll win the game. Just find ways to make Ezio unblockable after you cast Sorin

@@OGMargon maybe you dont have to work so hard, just make your commander Ezio a power 21 with unblockable and hexproof with Ramses on field 🤣

I *love* thematic decks, but I am concerned that this set just doesn't have enough stuff to support a 100% AC deck? Only having a total of like 9 fixing lands and no ramp makes it really difficult to hit the normal threshholds you want for a commander deck. On the other hand, I'm glad they're printing a set that is a little more low-key than 4 commander decks with all the staples, or a full draftable set

I recommend watching the video! You actually need very little to make this deck work and it works quite well because your commander cheats in creatures for just 2 black

@@RebellSon oh lol sorry I had actually watched, but was somewhat talking a cross purposes with it. The setup you have seems reasonable given the constraints, but you're gonna end up being even more commander centric than most decks because you just literally can't play spells without Ezio FreeRunning

Assassin Creed was never my jam, but the deck looks cool!

So I guess this deck doesn't play into the WUBRG Ezio ability at all since it has a relatively hard time making white? Besides from that I would be very hesitant to play a deck that is so very heavily commander dependent it seems pretty sweet and looking at it I do think that there are definitely enough cards in this set that it feels like there could have been commander precons. Heh, also, I almost thought you had missed adding the link because it's not Moxfield and my brain is not trained to look for archidekt links.
