Looking back when I had my cat, I wish I would have let him have the fun of going under the sheets when I fly it over the bed. He really enjoyed that. I really don't care if my bed is made up or not and would rather entertain my cat instead.

Cats don't always like being wrapped up by people, but they love the feeling of security they get from being surrounded and obscured by an object. Bedsheets, paper bags are another favorite, as are boxes. Sneaky goofballs they are.

Haha! When I make my bed, I have 3 that are jumping and sliding the whole time! It's like who can do it the fast and most aggressive 😅 in which takes me long time to actually make my bed, because I like my sheets crisp and tuat! My favorite memory of my cat is whenever I replaced the bed sheets with ones fresh from the dryer. Always took the opportunity to just lie in the middle of the bed and just nap. After the first couple of times I decided to change my sheets early on weekends so he could enjoy it for as long as he wants.

My cat, a Tabby too, used to run back and forth one side of the bed to the other legs splayed when I shook out the sheet. She'd slide home (to one corner) sometimes. I had to move her to the top and then she'd do the same with the blankets. Some days I made her inside the bed and left her to nap. She'd come out after an hour or two. Other days when I was in a hurry I'd kick her out of the bedroom and close the door. Took 1/2 the time to make it without her trying to help. It was cute and funny. I miss her doing that.

He can be on the other end of the house, and when he hears "bed making" noises, he comes dashing into my bedroom and jumps on the bed in one swift movement! And then he proceeds to "help" me make the bed.😄 Once in awhile, I'll close him out of the bedroom if I'm in a hurry, but usually he gets to have his fun.❤

Happens every time. Had a kitten once who got trapped in a pillowcase.

They love diving under the covers and getting so snugged that one doesn't have the heart to disturb their comfort. One ends up making half of the bed or a corner left untucked, depending on where they choose to lay on. We are suckers for their cheeky shenanigans.

As soon as I threw out the sheet Chunk would come flying in full blast and dive under it. I miss her and her antics. This must be a thing a lot of cats do.

Molly was such a dainty thing and she got made into the bed more than once in her 15 years. I'd be looking for her and find her still in the made bed, without a trace of her body distorting the smoothness of the quilts. As just a teeny kitten we couldn't find her brother anywhere. I was making one last frantic check of the house before I drained the washing machine to start pulling wet clothes out to find a drowned kitten. And there he was, all curled up, sound asleep in the fleece of a sheepskin I had over the back of the couch. I couldn't see the precious thing until I was right over him he was snuggled so deeply. Sooo relieved I didn't have to drain that washing machine to find him. We loved those two knucklehead cats every moment of the 15 years we had them in our lives. So funny, so funny together! It was truly a privilege to be their caretakers. Christmas package wrapping day was my favorite with my two helpers right there, inspecting and supervising everything. Pant legs and sleeves had walk-thru checks and every box got sat in. Tissue, paper, ribbon, bows and tags all done with my twins. Their perch was the height of the kitchen table. I'd slide it to the table and we'd go to work. I enjoyed it as much as they did! They were a big part of our little household. They passed 11 days apart. Our house seemed so empty.
