My plans to celebrate our wedding anniversary by gifting my wife an amethyst pendant was almost ruined by receiving the Amazon jewelry in the cheesiest of plastic zip lock bags. It wasn't a super premium or costly piece of jewelry, but the seller couldn't pop for a paper box? C'mon, man. Good thing I have a wood shop and a pretty cool idea for a super thin presentation box to hold the pendant. With a custom fitted recessed base and just enough room for the gemstone to fit in, the wool liner also hid some rare earth magnets that kept the box closed.
