He didn’t get permission to paint over the art work from the paintings owner, which is hella disrespectful & inconsiderate. all he had to do was find a empty space on another building just like the previous painters did. This isn't street art nor vandalism. This dude was given permission to paint this. Real street art is driven off of the fact to produce a message or a piece to the public you risk your own freedom to do so, and it shows in the pieces. It is the voice of the community barking back at the establishment . A rebellion. A voice that has been strong over 40 years. Withstanding constant attacks from culture vultures and hipsters. If you paint murals thats cool, but in no means are you a street artist. The streets don't know you. There is alot that ppl go through to produce art on the streets. Tough conditions, sleepless nites , risking freedom. This is true and dedication for art. I see these yuppies walk around taking pictures holding a montana can and wearing a gas mask.
