This is a great instruction video. I have no sculpting skills, I just 3d print most of my stuff for my Mcfarlane Space Marines, but today I made a skull. Thank you 👍

Thank you Pawel! It's a great place to start, I have learned a lot since making this video but once you get the basics down its gets easier to add detail and make it more realistic. Is there anywhere we can see your work? Instagram perhaps? :)

Blinded delivers again. The second vid i have watched, and all i can say is you are annoyingly (brilliantly) talented,. The sculpting is great, i dread to think how many years it took to get this good , certainly not a life wasted. Thanks, great to see.

Thanks Graham. I think I have learned a lot since these early videos, but I am looking to do a few more of these shorter tutorial style videos in the future. As for time learning to sculpt... it has been a while ;) Thanks for commenting and all the kind words. And thanks for sticking around and watching more of my videos

I'm hoping to get into 3D printing this year but casting might be a good skill to have in conjunction with printing. Great instructional video!

Thanks Fernie! I would love to get into 3d printing, but that's a hobby in itself, also.... I am useless at blender 3d modeling. Maybe something for the future. Best of luck with casting and or 3d printing if you get into it. What printers are you looking at?

@@BlindedbyDaylight I have my eyes set on a Creality Ender 3. Seems to be a good beginner printer. But you're right about 3D modelling being its own skill. A skill I don't have haha. I just take existing models and play around with them. Main thing I plan to do is print little weapons and accessories for my action figure collection:)

@@ferniefabian5503 for that application I think that a 3ď printer is perfect. You never know, I might have to get one to at some point

I wish I'd seen this before I made my son's Black Templar phone case. The skull I made was.....a loose approximation of a skull 😂 Very informative video. Thanks!

Thanks again Lyndilou. These are just a starting point for making basic skulls, I still use this technique to this day. Might have to re do this video too, have learned so much about filming and editing since then.

Fantastic! Do you share your work on Instagram? Would love to see it. I really should remake this video. I think I have come a long way in the last year editing and filming wise. Still using this mould for skulls to this day though. New video out soon. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
