Top Tip... you can at 10:40 see how tricky it is to thread the curved links through. Note how they have to be pulled through with two different pliers. This can all be avoided by keeping the links straight as at 5:46 Thread them through straight, then bend them up. Much simpler and faster. Dave.

I watched several videos in making this type of chain. This one did many things correctly, First they called it double foxtail chain which made it possible to understand how this was different from the basic foxtail chain. Secondly the clear photography made it exactly clear how to interlink the jump rings. Many thanks to creators of this video.

Hello, I really love your work, you have amazing videos! :-) Could you help me please with project for one of my customers? Iam a goldsmith from Czech republic and my customer would like this type of chain, that you have in the video. He would like it in 45 cm around 25g of 14K White gold. What should be the estimated thicknes (strong) of the wire and on what diameter should i use the wooden timber to achieve this weight in that pattern? Thank you verry much for your answer. Thomas

(two years later) good question! I tried this with 1 millimeter wire and made the rings 12 millimeter in diameter. It worked for me. Good luck!
