This is not like sewing you can't just take the stitches out if you make a mistake, and believe me that can take patience. It can be hours of work sometimes. This is so, so, so, so, so much more than that. I cannot imagine the steady hands and the clear confidence it takes to not make a catastrophic mistake in the build of the item. Just the welding alone was intense. I was slightly stressed out for just a moment, thinking about creating all of that to perfection only to risk the next detailed step. This is amazing, shocking, and beautiful.

Wow! That's amazing to truly start with molten metal and finish with a beautiful piece of jewelry. At 09:19 where you showed how it looked linked together so far was really cool. The way you linked it together by coiling the coils together sure beats assembling individual links not to mention less pieces to solder together. As an aspiring bench jeweler, I may try this method of linking when I get better at soldering. I tried to make a Byzantine bracelet once but I have no patience for opening and closing so many jump rings and they're difficult to hold onto. It's very tedious. I'm so impressed with your method of doing this and really the entire process is amazing. The bracelet is very beautiful and heavy considering it weighs a little over 1 OZT. You are truly an artist! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Thank you for showing the process! It is wonderful to watch. I have a question would you know what a palmier chain is and how it is made? Is it a variation of the foxtail. It looks like it is braided but with more than 3 strands because the chain is round and not flat. Thank you!

So cool. I have wanted a bracket like that for a very long time. I prefer silver and white gold or platinum over yellow gold. I personally think it looks better on me than yellow. I have a Cuban chain made in Italy, nice heavy piece but it has a few areas that were close to a penny and a quarter and the area was damp. I tried polishing it out by hand then made the mistake of using the original dremel. It’s not ruined but the those areas will quickly contrast after a hand polish. I took it to a watch and jewelry repair person who thought they could get it looking new again but failed. There may be an anti tarnish plate over the sterling that is making this difficult. Any way to clean a piece up without heating and tools

I read your care instructions and was wondering about rinsing after washing with soapy water. I had problems wearing Sterling chains. My body chemistry causes them to turn black after 1 or 2 days of wearing them. My jeweler advised me to wash with blue Dawn dish soap but told me NOT to rinse. He said it would leave a film that would help prevent it from oxidizing so quickly but I'd have to repeat the process. I was wondering if you knew anything about this? Thanks!

I think I told u I make chain mail jewelry but I do not and cannot afford such gr8 tools as u...but I also work In Much thinner gauges like 18,20, 22...I bought 8 and e gauge wire and went to a jeweler and had him just bend them to fit my wrist and my wife’s wrist...I need to commission u to make us jewelry. I have a lot of pure silver bullion, several ounces of it...would u want me to send you some to make our jewelry? I also have gold if u work in that medium...
