Making Scoopable Wax

A step by step video of how I make my scoopable wax. So many people have never heard of it. And still there are those that have a lot of trouble getting it just right.
Here is the recipe:
Experiment with different oils to find which one you like better. I use vegetable oil.
Making Scoopable Wax
You will need:
16 oz. Good quality soy wax
12 oz. Canola, Coconut, Olive, Vegetable, or your choice liquid oil
4 oz. of Fragrance oil
Your choice of colorant
Directions
1. Use scale and measure out your wax, oil, and fragrance.
2. In double boiler, melt wax to 175 degrees.
3. Add your liquid oil…stir thoroughly.
4. Add fragrance oil and if desired, your colorant.
This recipe will make 8 - 4oz containers.
Now this recipe I found doesn't include any other helpful instructions so the whipping technique is extra.
Pour your mixture into a metal or glass bowl. Cover with cling wrap and chill for about 15 to 20 minutes in freezer, just long enough to have hardened outsides and top but still soft on inside. Next, scrap the hardened mixture off the sides and stir in with the softer part and when you mix that together, get a hand mixer and whip, whip, whip! If it's too hard, let it soften a bit and that second round of whipping will make it soft and creamy. Pour into your jars and it will set over night. Just use any spoon and scoop it out. Good luck!
